Al via le semifinali dei Campionati Europei di Valladolid
Domani iniziano le semifinali dei Campionati Europei di Valladolid: l’Italia c’è con tutte e tre le squadre. L’U18 femminile, dopo la sconfitta subita questa sera per 2 a 0 dalle Blues, affronterà di nuovo la Francia, alle 15. Chi vince sfiderà domenica la Spagna, face off alle ore 15.
L’U18 maschile ha superato 5 a 2 i pari età francesi. La Francia si porta in vantaggio al 12esimo con Carraz, ma due minuti dopo Alessandro Rossetto trova la rete del pari. Nell’ultimo minuto, prima Mattia Pietrobon, e poi Mattia Vellar, portano il risultato sul 3 a 1 a favore degli azzurri. Nella ripresa è ancora Mattia Pietrobon a trovare la rete che vale il 4 a 2 azzurro. A 5 e 40 dalla fine Cloupeau accorcia le distanze per la Francia, che negli ultimi due minuti toglie il portiere. Mattia Pietrobon intercetta il disco e segna a porta vuota la rete del 5 a 2 finale.
Domani gli azzurri affronteranno la Spagna alle 19. L’altra semifinale sarà Rep. Ceca vs Finlandia, alle 20:20. La finale è in programma domenica alle 16 e 30. Anche l’U16 affronterà domani, alle 10 e 50, gli spagnoli. L’altra semifinale vedrà Slovacchia contro Rep. Ceca. La finale si terrà domenica alle 15.
Valladolid European Championships semifinals kick off
Semifinals of the European Championships in Valladolid start tomorrow: Italy is there with all three teams. The U18 women’s team, after their 2-0 defeat this evening by the Blues, will face France again, at 3 p.m. The winner will take on Spain on Sunday, face-off at 3 p.m.
The U18 men’s team overcame their French peers 5-2. France took the lead in the 12th minute through Carraz, but two minutes later Alessandro Rossetto found the equalising goal. In the last minute, first Mattia Pietrobon, and then Mattia Vellar, brought the result to 3:1 in favour of the Azzurri. In the second half, it was again Mattia Pietrobon who found the goal that made it 4-2 Azzurri. With 5:40 to go, Cloupeau shortened the distance for France, who, in the last two minutes, removed the goalkeeper. Mattia Pietrobon intercepts the puck and scores the goal of the 5 to 2 final.
Tomorrow the Azzurri will face Spain at 7pm. The other semifinal will be Czech Republic vs Finland at 8.20pm. The final is scheduled for Sunday at 16:30. The U16 will also face the Spaniards tomorrow at 10:50. The other semi-final will see Slovakia vs Czech Rep. The final will take place on Sunday at 3pm.
