Otto squadre nazionali per il 41° Campionato Europeo Under 17
Otto nazionali si contenderanno il 41° titolo di campione europeo Under 17 che si terrà dal 18 al 24 settembre a Saint Sadurnì d’Anoia in Spagna: Andorra, Inghilterra, Francia, Germania, Italia, Portogallo, Spagna e Svizzera. La Spagna è la detentrice degli ultimi tre titoli, quattro nelle ultime cinque edizioni, mentre il Portogallo è il detentore delle ultime otto edizioni. Le nazioni tornano ad essere otto come nel 2019 a Torres Vedras.
Ci sarà una prima fase di qualificazione, da lunedì a mercoledì, con due gruppi di quattro squadre, definiti dalla classifica dell’ultimo Europeo 2021 a Paredes. Tre punti per la vincente di ogni partita, mentre sarà un punto per ogni squadra in caso di parità che sarà poi seguita da una serie di tre scontri diretti gratuiti. La classifica di ogni gruppo creerà la griglia della seconda fase, il girone eliminatorio, da giovedì a sabato: Giovedì i quarti di finale, venerdì le semifinali e sabato le finali con l’assegnazione delle medaglie, a 19 per il bronzo e a 21 per l’oro. Eight national teams for the 41st Under 17 European Championship
Eight nations will compete for the 41st Title of Under 17 European Championship to be held from 18 to 24 September in Saint Sadurnì d’Anoia in Spain. Andorra, England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. Spain is the holder of the last three titles, four in the last five editions, while Portugal is the holder of the last eight editions. The nations return to eight as in 2019 in Torres Vedras.
There will be a first qualifying phase, from Monday to Wednesday, with two groups of four teams, defined by the ranking of the last European 2021 in Paredes. Three points for the winner of each game, while it will be one point for each team in the event of a tie that will then be followed by a series of three direct free hits. The ranking of each group will create the grid of the second phase, the Eliminatory Round, from Thursday to Saturday: Thursday the quarterfinals, Friday the semifinals and Saturday the Finals with the awarding of medals, at 19 for bronze and at 21 for gold. All the matches will be covered live by World Skate Europe TV.
