First qualifying round of the WSE Champion’s League finished
After three intense days of matches, the first qualifying round of the WSE Champion’s League is over. Forte, Braga, Grosseto, La Vendenne, Calafell, Valdagno, Caldes and Valongo are the teams that qualified for the second round of the 2022-2023 WSE Champion’s League which will be played in December. The other 8 non-qualifiers will play in the first round of the WSE Cup in December.
Three really intense days where only on the last day the eight teams qualified for the next round were decided. In Group A in Coutras, the Italian Forte dei Marmi ranked first with 7 points, winning against Alcoi and Coutras and drawing with the Portuguese Braga, the second ranking with 5 points. At 3 points the Spanish Alcoi and 1 for the French Coutras.
Thriller final for Group B, where everything was decided only at the last match between Grosseto and La Vendenne. Three teams with six points with avulsed ranking that reward for a single goal of difference (three points each team), Italian Grosseto (+1), French La Vendenne (0), while the Spanish Lleida (-1) did not qualify. At zero points the English King’s Lynn.
In Group C in Geneva (Switzerland), Spain’s Calafell and Italy’s Valdagno finished with 7 and 6 points respectively. The French Noisy, which stopped the spaniards on the draw for 2-2, failed to complete the comeback and remained at 4 points, while Geneva remains at zero points.
Also in group D at the last game the ranking was decided by three teams that fought until the last minute. Caldes and Valongo scored five points thanks to the final victories over Bassano (3-5) and Quevert (2-3) on the last day of play. Four points Dinan Quevert and one point bassano. Appointment on 16-17-18 December for two more qualifying rounds, while the draw of the groups is set for mid-October.

Terminato il primo turno di qualificazione alla WSE Champion’s League
Sono stati tre giorni davvero intensi in cui solo nell’ultima giornata si sono decise le otto squadre qualificate per il turno successivo. Nel Gruppo A di Coutras, l’italiana Forte dei Marmi si è classificata prima con 7 punti, vincendo contro Alcoi e Coutras e pareggiando con la portoghese Braga, secondo in classifica con 5 punti. A 3 punti gli spagnoli dell’Alcoi e a 1 i francesi del Coutras.
Finale thriller per il Gruppo B, dove tutto si è deciso solo all’ultima partita tra Grosseto e La Vendenne. Tre squadre a sei punti con classifica avulsa che premia per un solo gol di scarto (tre punti a testa), l’italiana Grosseto (+1), la francese La Vendenne (0), mentre gli spagnoli del Lleida (-1) non si sono qualificati. A zero punti l’inglese King’s Lynn.
Nel Gruppo C di Ginevra (Svizzera), la spagnola Calafell e l’italiana Valdagno hanno chiuso rispettivamente con 7 e 6 punti. Il Noisy francese, che ha fermato gli spagnoli sul pareggio per 2-2, non è riuscito a completare la rimonta ed è rimasto a 4 punti, mentre il Ginevra resta a zero punti.
Anche nel gruppo D all’ultima partita la classifica è stata decisa da tre squadre che hanno lottato fino all’ultimo minuto. Caldes e Valongo hanno ottenuto cinque punti grazie alle vittorie finali su Bassano (3-5) e Quevert (2-3) nell’ultima giornata di gioco. Quattro punti Dinan Quevert e un punto Bassano. Appuntamento il 16-17-18 dicembre per altri due turni di qualificazione, mentre il sorteggio dei gironi è fissato per metà ottobre.
