M&Q Round Alps Hockey League 2022/23: il programma dell’ottava giornata

Nel weekend si torna in campo nel Master e Qualification Round di Alps Hockey League 2022/23, con le partite valide per l’ottava giornata della seconda fase del campionato. Sfida al vertice nel Master Round, con lo scontro diretto tra Rittner Buam e Jesenice con le due squadre a pari punti. Giovedì, sia l’EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel e sia l’EHC Lustenau hanno vinto i rispettivi incontri ed hanno staccato un biglietto per i pre-playoff.

Sarà lotta per il primo posto nel Master Round tra Rittner Buam SkyAlps e l’HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. Entrambe le squadre sono attualmente a dodici punti ed hanno ancora due partite da giocare. Lo Jesenice, campione della stagione regolare, ha vinto tutti gli incontri con il Ritten in questa stagione. Per i Red Bull Hockey Juniors, che la scorsa settimana hanno perso la finale del campionato austriaco nella Alps Hockey League contro lo Zell am See, il ritorno in campionato sarà contro i neo-campioni italiani del S.G. Cortina Hafro. I biancoblu sono secondi in classifica, con due punti di vantaggio sul Salisburgo: entrambe le squadre hanno ancora tre partite da giocare.

L’HC Gherdeina valgardena.it gioca sarà ospite dello Steinbach Steel Wings Linz. Al terzo posto e con undici punti, il Val Gardena, occupa attualmente un posto nei pre-playoff, ma sia i Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan (12 punti), che li precedono direttamente, sia gli SHC Fassa Falcons (10 punti), che si trovano al quarto posto, hanno ancora una partita da giocare. Le “Furie” hanno quindi bisogno di vincere in Alta Austria. Nella partita solitaria di domenica i Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan affronteranno gli SHC Fassa Falcons, ed in palio ci saranno punti importanti per la partecipazione ai Pre-Playoff. Due i punti che separano le due formazioni, con il Vipiteno avanti al secondo posto. Entrambe le squadre avranno poi altre due partite da giocare.

A Klagenfurt arriva l’HC Meran/o Pircher, che deve vincere in casa dell’EC-KAC Future Team per mantenere viva la possibilità di accedere ai pre-playoff. Gli altoatesini devono vincere tutte e tre le partite rimanenti e sperare che l’EC Bregenzerwald non faccia nessun punto. Per i carinziani si tratta dell’ultima partita in casa della stagione. Finora in questo duello, ha sempre vinto la squadra di casa. L’EC Bregenzerwald, a cui basta un punto per raggiungere i pre-playoff, affronta l’EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. I “Wälder”, ancora imbattuti nel girone intermedio, hanno anche la possibilità di vincere la loro pool di qualificazione. L’ultima vittoria del Kitzbühel all’ECB risale a quasi tre anni fa (14.10.2020 con 4:2).

Over the weekend it’s back to business in the Master and Qualification Round of Alps Hockey League 2022/23, with games valid for the eighth day of the league’s second phase. A challenge at the top in the Master Round, with the direct clash between Rittner Buam and Jesenice with the two teams tied on points. On Thursday, both EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and EHC Lustenau won their respective matches and pulled off a ticket to the pre-playoffs.

It will be a fight for first place in the Master Round between Rittner Buam SkyAlps and HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. Both teams are currently on 12 points and have two games left to play. Jesenice, the regular season champion, has won all meetings with Ritten this season. For the Red Bull Hockey Juniors, who last week lost the Austrian championship final in the Alps Hockey League to Zell am See, the return to the league will be against the newly crowned Italian champions S.G. Cortina Hafro. The Biancoblu are second in the standings, two points ahead of Salzburg: both teams have three games left to play.
