Para Ice Hockey 2022/23: l’Armata Brancaleone batte le Eagles e vola in finale
Al termine dell’ultima giornata del campionato italiano di Para Ice Hockey 2022/23, disputata ieri, l’Armata Brancaleone batte le Eagles e vola in finale. La squadra di Varese ha superato all’Acinque Arena le South Tyrol Eagles per 4 a 3 ai rigori, dopo una partita molto combattuta e ricca di emozioni. Da definire ancora la data della finale.
All’ottavo minuto è Christoph Depaoli a portare avanti gli ospiti. Il risultato rimane invariato fino al 25 quando Igor Stella trova il pari in power play. L’1 a 1 chiude il secondo periodo. Ad inizio del terzo tempo, all’1:43, Roberto Radice segna la rete del 2 a 1 per Varese. Passano tre minuti e Nils Larch firma il pari sfruttando il power play per le Eagles. Negli ultimi 9 minuti prima Bruno Balossetti riporta avanti l’Armata ma a 5:43 dalla fine ancora Christoph Depaoli realizza il goal del 3 a 3.
Si va all’overtime ma il risultato non si sblocca e servono dunque i rigori. Bruno Balossetti segna quello decisivo che permette all’Armata di qualificarsi per la finale. A segno anche Alessandro Andreoni per Varese, e Gianluigi Rosa per le Eagles.

At the end of the last day of the Italian Para Ice Hockey 2022/23 championship, played yesterday, Armata Brancaleone beats the Eagles and flies to the final. The Varese team overcame at the Acinque Arena the South Tyrol Eagles 4-3 on penalties, after a very hard-fought and exciting game. The date of the final is still to be decided.
In the eighth minute it was Christoph Depaoli who put the guests ahead. The result remained unchanged until the 25th when Igor Stella found the equaliser on the power play. The 1:1 ended the second period. At the beginning of the third period, at 1:43, Roberto Radice scores the goal of 2 to 1 for Varese. Three minutes pass and Nils Larch scores the equalizer taking advantage of the power play for the Eagles. In the last 9 minutes first Bruno Balossetti brought the Armata back ahead but with 5:43 to go Christoph Depaoli scored the 3:3 goal.
We go to the overtime but the result is not unlocked and therefore penalties are needed. Bruno Balossetti scored the decisive one that allowed the Armata to qualify for the final. Also scoring were Alessandro Andreoni for Varese, and Gianluigi Rosa for the Eagles.
