WSE Champions League Women 2022/23: definiti i Quarti di finale
Al termine dell’ultima giornata di WSE Champions League Women 2022/23, disputata ieri sera, sono stati definiti i Quarti di finale. Si affronteranno quindi Liceo-Palau, Cerdanyola-Gijon, Vila-sana-Manlleu e Valdagno-Benfica. Il 1 aprile si disputerà l’andata, col Valdagno che giocherà in casa, mentre il 15 aprile ci sarà il ritorno.
Nel Gruppo A, la vittoria del Vila-sana in Portogallo per 6-4 (doppietta di Agudo e Porta) non è sufficiente per superare il Generali Palau Plegamans che vince così il girone. Nel Gruppo B il Liceo vince 3-1 a Manlleu (reti vincenti di Sanjurjo e Paz), ma rimane al secondo posto. Vittoria per 11-0 del TeleCable Gijon sul Valdagno (5 gol di Roces, nuova capocannoniera della WSE Champiosn League Women con 14 reti). Il Cerdanyola Fenie Energia ha confermato il secondo posto vincendo 7-1 a Nantes (due gol per Solè e Valverde).
WSE Champions League Women 2022/23: Quarter-finals defined
At the end of the last day of the WSE Champions League Women 2022/23, played last night, the quarter-finals have been defined. Thus, Liceo-Palau, Cerdanyola-Gijon, Vila-sana-Manlleu and Valdagno-Benfica will face each other. The first leg will be played on 1 April, with Valdagno playing at home, while the return leg will be on 15 April.
In Group A, Vila-sana’s 6-4 victory in Portugal (two goals from Agudo and Porta) was not enough to overcome Generali Palau Plegamans, who thus won the round. In Group B, Liceo won 3-1 in Manlleu (winning goals by Sanjurjo and Paz), but remains in second place. TeleCable Gijon won 11-0 over Valdagno (five goals by Roces, the new top scorer of the WSE Champiosn League Women with 14 goals). Cerdanyola Fenie Energia confirmed second place by winning 7-1 in Nantes (two goals for Solè and Valverde).
