I Gladiators Aosta sono Campioni d’Italia U17 2022/23
Ad Appiano i Gladiators Aosta si laureano Campioni d’Italia U17 per la stagione del campionato italiano 2022/23. I rossoneri battono 8 a 4 i padroni di casa in gara 2 e conquistano lo scudetto. Gara 1, disputata martedì ad Aosta, aveva visto vincere per 6 a 3 i padroni di casa contro i Pirati. Da notare che, in virtù del rapporto di collaborazione tra Gladiators ed HC Varese 1977, sono diversi i giovani gialloneri che hanno alzato il trofeo. In semifinale l’HC Eppan/Appiano aveva vinto le due gare nel derby contro il JuniorTeam U17 Egna/Ora, mentre gli Aosta Gladiators avevano avuto la meglio sul Bressanone/Vipiteno U17 in gara 3, dopo che gli altoatesini avevano conquistato la seconda gara playoff della Finale U17.
La partita si sblocca solo a due secondi dal termine, con Alessandro Carbone che porta avanti gli ospiti in power play. Passano 28 secondi dalla ripresa ed ancora Carbone raddoppia. Al 27esimo è Mattia Lenta a trovare il tris in power play. Al 33esimo Alessandro De Santi cala il poker in short handed, e pochi secondi dopo Adrian Movchan firma lo 0 a 5. Al35esimo Matthias Pardatscher trova l’1 a 5. Ad un secondo dalla seconda sirena Andrea Gesumaria trova il 6 a 1 per Aosta. Negli ultimi dieci minuti di gara prima Stefano Piechenstein e poi Nicolas Amici realizzano il 6 a 3. Al 56esimo Thomas Badoglio firma il 7 a 3 e nell’ultimo minuto le reti di Alan Schwingshackl per i Pirati, e Matteo Mazzocchi fissano il punteggio sull’8 a 4 per i Gladiators.
Gladiators Aosta are Italian U17 2022/23 Champions
In Appiano the Gladiators Aosta were crowned Italian U17 champions for the Italian championship season 2022/23. The rossoneri beat the hosts 8 to 4 in game 2 and conquered the scudetto. Game 1, played on Tuesday in Aosta, had seen the hosts win 6-3 against the Pirates. It should be noted that, by virtue of the partnership between Gladiators and HC Varese 1977, several young Gialloneri raised the trophy. In the semifinals, HC Eppan/Appiano had won the two games in the derby against JuniorTeam U17 Egna/Ora, while the Aosta Gladiators had got the better of Bressanone/Vipiteno U17 in game 3, after the South Tyroleans had won the second playoff game of the U17 Final.
The game was unblocked just two seconds from the end, with Alessandro Carbone putting the guests ahead on the power play. Twenty-eight seconds passed from the restart and again Carbone doubled. In the 27th minute it was Mattia Lenta who found the third on the power play. In the 33rd minute Alessandro De Santi kicked the poker in short handed, and a few seconds later Adrian Movchan signed the 0-5. At 35th Matthias Pardatscher found the 1:5. One second before the second siren Andrea Gesumaria found the 6 to 1 for Aosta. In the last ten minutes of the match first Stefano Piechenstein and then Nicolas Amici scored 6:3. At the 56th Thomas Badoglio signed the 7 to 3 and in the last minute the goals of Alan Schwingshackl for the Pirates, and Matteo Mazzocchi fixed the score at 8 to 4 for the Gladiators.
