I vincitori della MIHWA World Cup 2023 di Brunico
Al termine delle 107 partite disputate in questi sei lunghi giorni di hockey, sono stati definiti i vincitori della MIHWA World Cup 2023 di Brunico. USA e Francia vincono i tre tornei, con i francesi che s’impongono sia nei Veterans che nei Legends. Gli USA invece trionfano nel torneo Master. L’Italia chiude quinta nei Master e sesta nei Legends. Canada, USA e Francia vanno a meedaglia con tutte e tre le rappresentative portate.
Nel Master gli USA superano 7 a 3 il Canada e conquistano il torneo. Nell’altra sfida la Francia ha battuto 3 a 1 la Germania, chiudendo così in terza posizione. Nel torneo Veterans la Francia batte 3 a 2 gli USA ai rigori, al termine di un match molto combattuto. Di Mounier la rete decisiva che regala ai francesi la vittoria. Nella sfida per il terzo posto, finita anch’essa ai tempi supplementari, il Canada ha battuto 3 a 2 la Rep. Ceca. Nel torneo Legend la Francia supera 6 a 2 il Canada e conquista l’edizione 2023. Nella finale per il bronzo gli USA hanno vinto 7 a 2 contro la Slovacchia.
The winners of the MIHWA World Cup 2023 in Bruneck/Brunico
At the end of 107 matches played over six long days of hockey, the winners of the MIHWA World Cup 2023 in Bruneck have been decided. USA and France won the three tournaments, with the French winning both the Veterans and the Legends. The USA triumphed in the Masters tournament. Italy finished fifth in the Masters and sixth in the Legends. Canada, the USA and France went to the medal round with all three teams leading.
In the Masters the USA beat Canada 7-3 and won the tournament. In the other match, France beat Germany 3 to 1, thus finishing in third place. In the Veterans tournament, France beat the USA 3-2 on penalties after a hard-fought match. Mounier scored the decisive goal that gave the French victory. In the challenge for third place, which also ended in extra time, Canada beat the Czech Republic 3-2. In the Legend tournament, France beat Canada 6-2 and won the 2023 edition. In the final for bronze, the USA won 7-2 against Slovakia.
