Agli Europei di Valladolid vittorie per l’U18 e l’U16 maschile. Azzurre ancora sconfitte
Nelle restanti gare della giornata agli Europei di Valladolid l’Italia U18 e U16 maschile trovano entrambe due successi, rispettivamente contro Svizzera ed Irlanda. Seconda sconfitta invece per la Junior Femminile, che perde 4 a 0 contro la Francia. Domani le azzurre scenderanno di nuovo in campo, contro Spagna e Francia, rispettivamente alle 13 e 10 e alle 21 e 40.
L’Italia U18 batte 5 a 1 la Svizzera e si qualifica come prima nel girone. Prossimi avversari di domani nel secondo turno di round robin, Repubblica Ceca e Francia, rispettivamente alle 14 e 40 e alle 20 e 20. Le prime due del girone si qualificano alle semifinali. Per l’Italia U16 domani, alle 11 e 50, sfida decisiva contro la Gran Bretagna: chi vince si qualifica alle semifinali. Gli azzurri U16 hanno battuto 12 a 0 l’Irlanda.
U18 femminile
Passano poco meno di 4 minuti dall’avvio e Vaulot porta avanti la Francia. Il risultato rimane invariato fino agli ultimi 5 minuti, quando Burgeot trova il raddoppio. Passano 6 minuti dalla ripresa e Alcaraz trova la terza rete. Le azzurre potrebbero sfruttare un power play per riaprire la partita ma non ci riescono. Ad 1 e 51 Bernier firma la quarta rete.
U18 maschile
Gli azzurrini si portano in vantaggio con Mattia Pietrobon, ma la Svizzera trova poco dopo il pareggio con Frick. Passano due minuti e l’Italia si riporta avanti con Marco Magnabosco.
Il risultato resta invariato fino a 47 secondi dalla sirena, quando Filippo Chiamenti trova la rete del 3 a 1. Ad una dozzina di secondi dalla fine del primo periodo Alessandro Rossetto cala il poker azzurro. Nella ripresa l’Italia si fa pericolosamente avanti, ma il risultato cambia solo ad 1 e 54 dalla sirena, quando Mattia Vellar segna la rete del 5 a 1 finale.
U16
La partita si sblocca dopo i primi 5 minuti, grazie alla rete di Andrea Rigoni. Passano 3 minuti e gli azzurri trovano cinque reti in rapida successione: segnano Filippo Matonti, Bernardo Meconi, Gabriele Marchet, ancora Filippo Matonti e Pietro Buratti.
Meno di cinque minuti dopo Nicolas Amici trova la rete del 7 a 0. Il risultato non cambia fino a metà del secondo tempo, con gli azzurri che segnano altre due reti vicine con Gabriel Oro e Michelangelo Carli. In the remaining matches of the day at the European Championships in Valladolid, Italy’s U18 and U16 men’s teams both found two victories, against Switzerland and Ireland respectively. Second defeat instead for the Junior Women’s team, which lost 4-0 against France. Tomorrow the Azzurri will take the field again, against Spain and France, respectively at 13:10 and 21:40.
Italy U18 beat Switzerland 5:1 and qualified as first in the group. Tomorrow’s next opponents in the second round robin are the Czech Republic and France, at 2.40 p.m. and 8.20 p.m. respectively. The first two in the group qualify for the semifinals. For Italy U16 tomorrow, at 11.50 am, the decisive challenge against Great Britain: whoever wins qualifies for the semifinals. The Azzurri beat Ireland 12-0.
Women’s U18
Just under four minutes passed from the start and Vaulot put France ahead. The result remained unchanged until the last 5 minutes, when Burgeot found the double. Six minutes pass from the restart and Alcaraz finds the third goal. The Azzurri could take advantage of a power play to reopen the game but failed to do so. At 1:51 Bernier signs the fourth goal.
U18 Men
