Agli Europei di Valladolid vittoria per l’U18 maschile. Sconfitte per la Femminile e l’U16
Iniziano bene gli Europei di Valladolid per l’Italia U18 maschile, che trova la prima vittoria per 5 a o contro il Belgio. Esordio con sconfitta per la Junior Femminile e l’U16, rispettivamente contro Spagna e Slovacchia. Nel pomeriggio, le tre nazionali scenderanno di nuovo in campo. Alle 13 e 10, l’U16 giocherà contro l’Irlanda. Alle 16 la Femminile affronterà la Francia, mentre questa sera, alle 21 e 10 l’U18 sfiderà la Svizzera.
L’Italia U18 maschile chiude il primo periodo con un parziale di 3 a 0, grazie alle reti di Lorenzo Campulla, Mattia Pietrobon e Luca Pesavento. Il risultato resta invariato fino agli ultimi 5 minuti quando prima ancora Mattia Pietrobon, e poco dopo Lorenzo Campulla trovano due reti. Finisce 5 a 0.
Esordio con sconfitta per le azzurrine della juniores femminile che perdono 9 a 0 contro la Spagna. Sotto di 3 reti a fine del primo tempo, la Spagna trova l’allungo vincente ad inizio del secondo, che vale il 4 a 0. A 15 minuti dalla seconda sirena le spagnole trovano altre due reti in rapida successione. Le altre 3 arrivano negli ultimi 8 minuti.
Sconfitti anche gli azzurrini dell’U16 nella prima partita disputata ieri contro la Slovacchia: finisce 6 a 5 per gli slovacchi. Sotto di 3 reti nei primi 12 minuti, l’Italia accorcia le distanze con Nicolas Amici e Bernardo Meconi, per poi pareggiare ad inizio ripresa con Ruggero Meconi. La Slovacchia però si riporta in vantaggio, e poi trova altre due reti in rapida successione negli ultimi 5 minuti. Gli azzurri accorciano le distanze con Nicolas Amici, a 2 e 44 dalla sirena. Filippo Matonti firma la rete del 6 a 5 a 3 secondi dalla fine.
