Il Matera conquista la Supercoppa Italiana Femminile 2022/23
Con la vittoria anche nella gara di ritorno, il Matera conquista la Supercoppa Italiana Femminile 2022/23 battendo 3 a 2 il Valdagno, aggiudicandosi così la prima edizione del trofeo. Le lucane si erano presentate in veneto con 4 reti di vantaggio, in virtù del 7 a 3 della gara d’andata disputata sabato scorso. Lunedì 9 ottobre si terrà invece il raduno della Nazionale femminile in vista del Mondiale 2022 in Argentina.
Dopo i primi minuti di studio è il Matera ad andare vicino alla rete, ma Parlato non si fa sorprendere. Il Valdagno prova a rispondere e chiama in causa Meneghello. Sono però le lucane a passare per prime in vantaggio al settimo minuto, con un’azione personale di Tarrida che supera Parlato. Al decimo Tamiozzo in contropiede non riesce a superare la portiera avversarie: per Valdagno sfuma l’occasione per pareggiare. Il Valdagno prova a farsi avanti, ma inizialmente Matera non concede molto. A due minuti dalla fine Elena Tamiozzo trova la rete dell’1 a 1. Finisce così il primo tempo.
Al 3 e 27 della ripresa Cristina Santochirico porta in vantaggio le venete firmando il 2 a 1. Al settimo Valdagno riparte e sfiora la rete con Sartori, con Matera che nel capovolgimento di fronte si fa pericolosa con Tarrida. Al nono è ancora Sartori ad andare vicino alla rete, ma alla giocatrice non riesce il tap in vincente. All’undicesimo Cerato sfiora la rete, ma il suo tiro finisce di poco sopra la traversa.
Al quindicesimo è ancora Valdagno a farsi avanti con Sartori ma sulla ripartenza Pamela Lapolla firma la rete del 2 a 2. Passano pochi secondi e Matera conquista un rigore che però Lapolla non trasforma. A 5 e 52 dalla fine Rebecca Taccardi porta avanti le lucane, firmando la rete del 3 a 2 per Matera. Negli ultimi minuti il ritmo cala, con le venete che provano a cercare il pareggio ma non lo trovano. Il Matera espugna Valdagno e conquista la prima edizione della Supercoppa Italiana Femminile.
Matera wins the Italian Women’s Super Cup 2022/23
With the victory also in the return match, Matera conquered the Italian Women’s Super Cup 2022/23 beating Valdagno 3 to 2, thus winning the first edition of the trophy. The Lucane had arrived in Veneto with a 4-goal advantage, by virtue of the 7-3 win in the first match played last Saturday. On Monday, 9 October, the women’s national team will meet for the 2022 World Cup in Argentina.
After the first few minutes of study, it was Matera who went close to the goal, but Parlato was not surprised. Valdagno tried to answer and called Meneghello into action. But the Lucane were the first to go ahead at the seventh minute, with a personal action of Tarrida that overcame Parlato. At the tenth minute, Tamiozzo in counter-attack failed to overcome the opponent’s goalkeeper: for Valdagno, the chance to equalize vanished. Valdagno tried to come forward, but initially Matera did not concede much. Two minutes from the end Elena Tamiozzo finds the goal of 1 to 1. The first half thus ends.
At the 3:27 of the second half, Cristina Santochirico brings the advantage to the Venetian, signing the 2:1. At the seventh Valdagno restarts and goes close to the goal with Sartori, with Matera that in the reversal of the front makes itself dangerous with Tarrida. In the ninth it was again Sartori to go close to the goal, but the player did not succeed in the winning tap in. At the eleventh, Cerato came close to scoring, but her shot finished just over the crossbar.
At the fifteenth it is still Valdagno to come forward with Sartori but on the restart Pamela Lapolla signs the goal of 2 to 2. A few seconds pass and Matera conquers a penalty kick that Lapolla does not transform. At 5 and 52 from the end Rebecca Taccardi brings forward the Lucane, signing the goal of 3 to 2 for Matera. In the last minutes the rhythm drops, with the Venetians trying to look for the draw but not finding it. Matera expurgated Valdagno and conquered the first edition of the Italian Women’s Supercup.
