IHL Women: vincono Rebelles, Eagles ed Icebears

Questo weekend si è giocata la seconda giornata del campionato di IHL Women, che ha visto trionfare Rebelles, Eagles ed Icebears. Per le ragazze di Dobbiaco si tratta del secondo successo, che vale il primo posto in classifica. Prima vittoria per le Rebelles e per le Eagles.

Sabato, nell’anticipo disputato ad Aosta, la formazione piemontese si è imposta 5 a 0 contro le Girls Project. Rebelles avanti 2 a 0 a fine primo periodo con le reti di Cloè Rossi ed Elena Ballardini. La ripresa si chiude con la seconda rete di Ballardini. Nell’ultimo periodo a segno Eleonora Trombetta e Federica Boaglio. Nei match di domenica pomeriggio le Eagles hanno battuto 6 a 2 il Valdifiemme, mentre le Icebears hanno superato all’overtime le Lakers per 4 a 3.

A Cavalese è Silvia Toffano a portare avanti le padrone di casa, ma 24 secondi dopo Marissa Massaro pareggia. Nel secondo periodo prima Elisa Innocenti e poi Amie Varano portano le Eagles in doppio vantaggio. Alice Gasparini, al terzo minuto dell’ultimo periodo accorcia le distanze, ma passati 31 secondi è Anna Callovini ad allungare di nuovo per Bolzano. Le due reti di Marissa Massaro, a pochi secondi l’una dall’altra, chiudono il match sul 6 a 2 per le ospiti.

A Caldaro le Lakers chiudono il primo periodo avanti di tre reti, grazie ai goal di Elena Perathoner, Lisa Gallmetzer e Sarah Engele. Nel secondo periodo Ilary Larese, e poi Lea Mair in power play, riaprono il match. A 115 secondi dalla sirena finale Mia Campo Bagatin firma il pareggio. Si va all’overtime e Lea Mair trova la rete della vittoria per Dobbiaco.

The second day of the IHL Women championship was played this weekend, with Rebelles, Eagles and Icebears triumphing. For the Dobbiaco girls it was the second success, which is worth the first place in the standings. First victory for the Rebelles and the Eagles.

On Saturday, in the advance match played in Aosta, the Piedmontese team won 5-0 against Girls Project. Rebelles were ahead 2-0 at the end of the first period with goals by Cloè Rossi and Elena Ballardini. The second period ended with Ballardini’s second goal. In the last period, Eleonora Trombetta and Federica Boaglio scored. In Sunday afternoon’s matches, the Eagles beat Valdifiemme 6-2, while the Icebears overcame the Lakers 4-3 in overtime.

Alice Gasparini, in the third minute of the last period shortened the distance, but 31 seconds later it was Anna Callovini who extended it again for Bolzano. Marissa Massaro’s two goals, a few seconds apart, closed the match on 6-2 for the guests.

In Caldaro the Lakers closed the first period ahead by three goals, thanks to goals by Elena Perathoner, Lisa Gallmetzer and Sarah Engele. In the second period Ilary Larese, and then Lea Mair on the power play, reopened the match. At 115 seconds to the final siren Mia Campo Bagatin signed the draw. It went into overtime and Lea Mair found the winning goal for Toblach.
