L’Italia sconfitta all’esordio dal Canada ai World Skate Games 2022
Al termine di una partita combattuta ed aperta fino alla fine, l’Italia femminile esce sconfitta all’esordio dal Canada per 2 a 1, ai World Skate Games 2022, in programma a Buenos Aires e San Juan dal 24 ottobre al 13 novembre. Domani alle 16 italiane, le 11 locali, la nazionale femminile senior affronterà il Brasile. Nell’altra partita del girone gli USA hanno battuto il Messico per 7 a 0. Sono le ragazze di Mirko Ceschini a passare per prime in vantaggio grazie ad Arianna Bisi, che in avvio di primo periodo, all’1 e 29, porta avanti le azzurre. Due penalità, una per parte, non vengono sfruttate. A metà della prima frazione, quando sono passati 38 secondi dal decimo minuto, Toth Kirsten trova la rete del pari. Meno di un minuto e Florencia Abrati commette fallo e finisce in panca puniti, con le canadesi che avranno un powerplay: il Canada a pochi secondi dalla fine della superiorità trova la rete con Alannah Kedra.
Il 2 a 1 resiste fino alla fine, con le azzurre che negli ultimi minuti della ripresa provano il tutto per tutto, ma non riescono a segnare.
