Gli azzurrini superano il Brasile ai World Skate Games 2022
Dopo la sconfitta di ieri, gli azzurrini si rifanno subito e superano 5 a 1 il Brasile nel secondo incontro dei World Skate Games 2022, in programma a Buenos Aires e San Juan dal 24 ottobre al 13 novembre. Per la nazionale maschile junior arriva così il primo successo al mondiale. Oggi alle ore 16 locali, le 21 italiane, l’Italia affronterà gli USA nel terzo incontro. Tra poco scenderà in campo anche la nazionale femminile senior: alle ore 16 italiane, le azzurre guidate da Luca Rigoni affronteranno il Brasile.
L’Italia si porta subito in vantaggio con Giacomo Masiero, quando sono passati 52 secondi dall’inizio dell’incontro. Il risultato resta invariato fino al 11:10, quando Renzo Rocco trova la rete del raddoppio. Le squadre vanno così al riposo con l’Italia avanti 2:0 sul Brasile. Nella ripresa gli azzurrini trovano l’allungo vincente nei primi quattro minuti. Prima Renzo Rocco, al 2:48, e poi Alessandro Rossetto al 3:44, portano l’Italia sul 4 a 0.Al 6:12 il Brasile prova a riaprire la gara con João Pedro Bertolla, che firma il 4 a 1. L’Italia controlla la partita e concede poco agli avversari.
Ad 8 minuti dalla fine Vinicius Bellangero finisce in panca puniti, e l’Italia ha la possibilità di sfruttare il primo power play della partita. La superiorità tuttavia dura poco, in quanto anche Tommaso Lazzari commette fallo. Con le squadre tornate in parità sono gli azzurri a farsi più pericolosi, ed a chiamare in causa il goalie avversario. Il palo dice di no alla rete del possibile 5 a 1. Il goal è nell’aria ed arriva a 59 secondi dalla sirena grazie a Mattia Pietrobon che dalla distanza trova la rete del 5 a 1 finale.
