L’Italia Femminile Junior chiude al sesto posto i World Skate Games 2022
Si conclude con una sconfitta all’overtime l’avventura dell’Italia Femminile Junior ai World Skate Games 2022. Le azzurre chiudono così al sesto posto la rassegna, perdendo 3 a 2 contro il Brasile. Alle 23 italiane l’Italia Maschile senior affronterà gli USA nella semifinale
Apre le marcature Chiara Battaglino al 15esimo, con le azzurre in power play. Il Brasile risponde due minuti dopo con Isadora Bassetto che trova il pari, con le verdeoro in power play. Al settimo della ripresa ancora Isadora Bassetto riporta avanti le brasiliane. Le azzurre non demprdono ed a 15 secondi dalla sirena trovano il pareggio con Maddalena Tiatto. Si va all’overtime ed a decidere l’incontro ci pensa Julia Lintz con un tiro dalla distanza.

Italy Women’s Junior ends World Skate Games 2022 in sixth place
Italy Women’s Junior’s adventure at the World Skate Games 2022 ended with a defeat in overtime. The Italian women’s team thus ended the event in sixth place, losing 3-2 to Brazil. At 23:00 Italian time, the Italian Senior Men’s team will face the USA in the semi-final.
Chiara Battaglino opened the scoring in the 15th minute, with the Italians on the power play. Brazil responded two minutes later with Isadora Bassetto who found the equalizer, with the Greenoro in power play. In the seventh minute of the second half, Isadora Bassetto again put the Brazilians ahead. The Italians did not give up and 15 seconds from the siren they found the draw with Maddalena Tiatto. It went into overtime and the match was decided by Julia Lintz with a shot from distance.
