L’Italia U19 vola in finale ai World Skate Games 2022
Per la prima volta nella sua storia l’Italia U19 vola in finale ai Mondiali: battuto 6 a 3 il Portogallo ai World Skate Games 2022 al termine di una partita molto combattuta, e ben interpretata dai ragazzi di coach Alessandro Bertolucci. L’Italia scenderà in campo domani, alle 23 e 30 italiane, contro la vincente tra Argentina e Spagna.
Dopo le prime fiammate portoghesi sono gli azzurri a portarsi in vantaggio al terzo minuto con Giulio Piccoli. Lo stesso, passati 27 secondi trova il raddoppio. Tre minuti dopo, ancora Giulio Piccoli, segna la rete del 3 a 0. All’ottavo minuto Tiago Sanches realizza il tiro diretto per il 3 a 1 portoghese. I lusitani spingono, ma gli azzurri si difendono bene e sfiorano la rete in diverse occasioni. A 5 e 22 dalla prima sirena Tiago Sanches fallisce un rigore. A 2 e 26 dalla fine del primo tempo Diogo Rodrigues riapre la partita per i portoghesi, firmando il 3 a 2. Il risultato però non cambia, e le squadre vanno negli spogliatoi.
Al terzo minuto della ripresa Gioele Piccoli cala il poker per l’Italia. Passano meno di due minuti e Matteo Cardella trova la rete del 5 a 2 per gli azzurri. All’ottavo minuto Diogo Rodrigues fallisce un rigore e il risultato rimane invariato. A metà del secondo tempo tiro diretto per l’Italia: Matteo Cardella però non lo concretizza. Negli ultimi cinque minuti prima Leonardo Diquigiovanni per l’Italia, e poi Tiago Sanches, falliscono il tiro diretto. A 3 e 12 dalla fine Miguel Henriques realizza il 5 a 3. Il Portogallo prova a riaprire la partita ma è l’Italia a trovare la rete a 3 secondi dalla fine con Leonardo Diquigiovanni. L’Italia U19 vola in finale, per la prima volta nella sua storia.
Italy U19 flies into the final at World Skate 2022
For the first time in its history, Italy U19 flies to the finals at the World Skate 2022: beaten 6-3 by Portugal at the World Skate 2022 at the end of a hard-fought match, and well played by coach Alessandro Bertolucci’s boys. Italy will take the field tomorrow, at 23:30 Italian time, against the winner between Argentina and Spain.
After the first Portuguese flashes, it was the Azzurri who took the lead in the third minute with Giulio Piccoli. The same, 27 seconds later, found the double. Three minutes later, Giulio Piccoli again scored the 3-0 goal. In the eighth minute Tiago Sanches scored the direct shot for the Portuguese 3-1. The Lusitanians pushed, but the Azzurri defended well and came close to scoring on several occasions. With 5:22 to go before the first siren Tiago Sanches missed a penalty. With 2:26 to go in the first half, Diogo Rodrigues reopened the game for the Portuguese, signing the 3-2 scoreline. The result did not change, however, and the teams went into the locker room.
In the third minute of the second half, Gioele Piccoli kicked the poker for Italy. Less than two minutes passed and Matteo Cardella found the 5-2 goal for the Azzurri. In the eighth minute Diogo Rodrigues missed a penalty and the result remained unchanged. In the middle of the second half a direct shot for Italy: Matteo Cardella, however, did not materialise it. In the last five minutes first Leonardo Diquigiovanni for Italy, and then Tiago Sanches, failed to score a direct shot. With 3:12 to go Miguel Henriques made it 5:3. Portugal tried to reopen the game but it was Italy who found the net with 3 seconds left with Leonardo Diquigiovanni. Italy U19 flies to the final for the first time in its history.
