La Repubblica Ceca è campione del mondo, l’Italia è vice campione
A Buenos Aires la Repubblica Ceca si laurea campione del mondo, superando 7 a 3 l’Italia nella finale dei World Skate Games 2022. Per gli azzurri è medaglia d’argento. Dopo un primo periodo finito 4 a 1 per i cechi, con l’Italia restata sempre in partita, nella ripresa la Repubblica Ceca trova l’allungo decisivo. Gli azzurri provano a segnare ma il goalie ceco non lascia passare nulla: solo negli ultimi tre minuti l’Italia trova due reti che rendono giustizia alla prestazione dei ragazzi di coach Luca Rigoni. I cechi, a pochi secondi dallo scadere segnano la settima rete a porta vuota. Finisce 7 a 3.
Dopo un buon avvio da parte di entrambe le formazioni è la Repubblica Ceca a passare in vantaggio con Marek Loskot al 3:12. Gli azzurri provano a cercare il pareggio, ma sono i cechi a farsi più pericolosi. All’8:43 Fabrizio Pace, dopo che le squadre erano tornate in campo da poco per il time out ceco, finisce in panca puniti. Passano 13 secondi e Marek Loskot segna il raddoppio. 115 secondi dopo Fabrizio Pace accorcia le distanze firmando il 2 a 1. 2 a 1 che dura appena 6 secondi con Petr Skoloud che segna il 3 a 1 ceco. Al 14 e 05 Martin Fiala cala il poker. Gli azzurri provano a reagire ma non trovano la rete, e il primo tempo finisce così 4 a 1.
Nella ripresa sono gli azzurri a farsi più pericolosi, ma il goalie ceco non lascia passare niente. Al sesto minuto Francesco Campulla e Jan Andrysek finiscono in panca puniti, ma le squadre giocano in 4 vs 4. All’ottavo minuto Martin Fiala trova la quinta rete per i cechi. L’Italia cerca la seconda rete ma al 12esimo Marek Loskot conquista il puck a metà campo, supera tre giocatori e segna il 6 a 2. Gli azzurri però non si arrendono e trovano al 17:56 la rete del 6 a 2 con Andrea Bellini. Passano 58 secondi e Emanuele Ferrari segna il 6 a 3, con l’Italia che aveva tolto il portiere per un uomo in più. A 19 secondi dalla fine Marek Loskot, con l’Italia che aveva ritolto il portiere, segna a porta vuota il 7 a 3.
Czech Republic is world champion, Italy is vice champion
In Buenos Aires, the Czech Republic became world champion, beating Italy 7-3 in the final of the World Skate Games 2022. For the Azzurri it is the silver medal. After a first period ended 4-1 for the Czechs, with Italy always remaining in the game, in the second half the Czech Republic found the decisive breakthrough. The Azzurri tried to score but the Czech goalie let nothing go by: only in the last three minutes did Italy find two goals that did justice to the performance of coach Luca Rigoni’s boys. The Czechs, a few seconds from the end, scored the seventh goal on an empty goal. It ended 7-3.
After a good start by both teams, it was the Czech Republic that took the lead with Marek Loskot at 3:12. The Azzurri tried to try to equalize, but it was the Czechs who made themselves more dangerous. At 8:43 Fabrizio Pace, after the teams had just returned to the pitch for the Czech time-out, ended up in the penalty box. Thirteen seconds passed and Marek Loskot scored the double. 115 seconds later Fabrizio Pace shortened the distance by signing the 2:1. 2:1 lasted just 6 seconds with Petr Skoloud scoring the Czech 3:1. At 14:05 Martin Fiala drops the poker. The Azzurri tried to react but could not find the net, and so the first half ended 4:1.
In the second half it was the Azzurri who made themselves more dangerous, but the Czech goalie did not let anything through. In the sixth minute Francesco Campulla and Jan Andrysek ended up in the penalty box, but the teams played in 4 vs 4. In the eighth minute Martin Fiala finds the fifth goal for the Czechs. Italy was looking for the second goal but at the 12th minute Marek Loskot conquered the puck in the middle of the field, overcame three players and scored 6 to 2. The Azzurri, however, did not give up and found at the 17:56 the goal of 6 to 2 with Andrea Bellini. 58 seconds passed and Emanuele Ferrari scored the 6:3, with Italy having taken off the goalkeeper for an extra man. At 19 seconds from the end Marek Loskot, with Italy having taken the goalkeeper off, scored 7:3 on an empty goal.
