L’Italia esce sconfitta per 8 a 0 dal Canada nel primo incontro della Para Ice Hockey Cup 2022, in prgramma a Bridgewater, in Nuova Scozia (Canada), fino al 3 dicembre. Dahuazzurri torneranno in campo domani lunedì 28 novembre, alle 17 e 30 italiane, contro gli USA che oggi hanno battuto 10 a 0 la Rep. Ceca.
Ad inizio del primo periodo James Dunn porta avanti il Canada. L’Italia regge bene una doppia inferiorità numerica. Il Canada raddoppia al decimo sempre con James Dunn, e due minuti dopo trova la terza rete con Tyler McGregor. Il primo periodo si chiude sul 3 a 0 per i nordamericani.
Ad inizio ripresa è ancora James Dunn a trovare la quarta rete. I Dahuazzurri, al quinto minuto, possono contare su due minuti in power play, ma non riescono a trovare la rete. Il Canada, tornato da poco in parità, segna il quinto goal con Corbyn Smith. Passano meno di tre minuti e Tyler McGregor firma il 6 a 0. Il risultato rimane invariato fino alla sirena. Nell’ultimo periodo le reti di Zach Lavin, al secondo minuto, e di Jacob Leblanc al sesto, fissano il punteggio sull’8 a 0 finale.

Italy was defeated 8-0 by Canada in the first match of the Para Ice Hockey Cup 2022, scheduled to take place in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia (Canada), until 3 December.
