L’Italia U20 affronta la Polonia al Mondiale di Bytom
Dopo l’odierna giornata di pausa l’Italia U20 affronterà domani, alle ore 16:30, la Polonia nella quarta partita del Mondiale IIHF di 1^ Divisione Gruppo B di Bytom, in Polonia, in programma dall’11 al 17 dicembre. Ieri gli azzurrini hanno vinto 6 a 4 contro la Corea del Sud, grazie alla doppietta di Alessandro Segafredo, ed alle reti di Tommy Purdeller, Thomas Galimberti, Alan Lobis e Leo Messner. L’Italia, attualmente terza, affronterà poi sabato l’Estonia, alle ore 13, nell’ultimo match in programma del Mondiale.
La Polonia nel match di ieri ha perso 3 a 7 contro il Giappone, ed è attualmente al quinto posto, con due punti fin qui conquistati nella vittoria all’overtime contro l’Estonia. Nell’altro match disputato ieri l’Ucraina ha vinto 3 a 2 contro l’Estonia e conduce imbattuta il girone, con 9 punti conquistati sinora.
Italy U20 takes on Poland at the World Cup in Bytom
After today’s break Italy U20 will face Poland tomorrow, at 16:30, in the fourth match of the IIHF World Championship 1st Division Group B in Bytom, Poland, scheduled from 11 to 17 December. Yesterday, the Azzurrini won 6-4 against South Korea, thanks to Alessandro Segafredo’s double and goals from Tommy Purdeller, Thomas Galimberti, Alan Lobis and Leo Messner. Italy, currently third, will then face Estonia on Saturday, at 1pm, in the last scheduled match of the World Cup.
Poland lost 3-7 to Japan in yesterday’s match, and is currently in fifth place, with two points so far in the overtime victory over Estonia. In the other match played yesterday, Ukraine won 3-2 against Estonia and leads the group undefeated, with nine points so far.
