L’Italia U20 supera la Polonia al Mondiale di Bytom
Terzo successo consecutivo per l’Italia U20 che supera 2 a 1 la Polonia nella quarta partita del Mondiale IIHF di 1^ Divisione Gruppo B di Bytom, in Polonia, in programma dall’11 al 17 dicembre. Per gli azzurrini arriva così la terza vittoria, dopo i successi contro Giappone e Corea del Sud. L’Italia, terza dopo quattro incontri, affronterà domani l’Estonia, alle ore 13, nell’ultimo match in programma del Mondiale.
La partita è equilibrata ed il risultato resta invariato per quasi due periodi. A sbloccare la gara è Alan Lobis, al 37:17, che porta così avanti gli azzurri dopo il secondo drittel. Nell’ultimo periodo la Polonia trova il pareggio con Macias dopo tre minuti. Gli azzurrini però rispondono due minuti dopo con Fabian Gschliesser sfruttando al meglio il power play e trovando così la rete del 2 a 1 finale. Terzo successo consecutivo per gli azzurrini che domani affronteranno l’Estonia, ultima in classifica.
Italy U20 overcomes Poland at Bytom World Cup
Third consecutive success for Italy U20 team that overcame Poland 2-1 in the fourth match of the IIHF World Championship 1st Division Group B in Bytom, Poland, scheduled from 11 to 17 December. This is the third victory for the Azzurrini, after the successes against Japan and South Korea. Italy, third after four matches, will face Estonia tomorrow, at 1 p.m., in the last scheduled match of the World Cup.
The match was balanced and the result remained unchanged for almost two periods. Unlocking the game was Alan Lobis, at 37:17, who thus put the Azzurri ahead after the second drittel. In the last period Poland found the draw with Macias after three minutes. However, the Azzurrini replied two minutes later with Fabian Gschliesser, making the most of the power play and thus finding the goal of the final 2:1. Third consecutive success for the Azzurrini who tomorrow will face Estonia, last in the standings.
