Al via le qualificazioni per i IIHF eWorld Championship 2023
Dopo il successo dell’IIHF eWorld Championship 2022, in cui i finlandesi “Eki” e “Vattuyy” hanno battuto il Canada in una finale emozionante, partono le qualificazioni per i IIHF eWorld Championship 2023. Il torneo si disputerà su EA SPORTS™ NHL™ 23 (PlayStation e Xbox). Nel corso di tre fasi di competizione, a partire dalle qualificazioni nel gennaio 2023, si decideranno i prossimi campioni ufficiali degli IIHF eWorld nel marzo 2023! GENNAIO 2023
FASE 1: QUALIFICAZIONI
Inizieremo con le qualificazioni. Ci sarà un torneo online aperto per ogni console (PS/Xbox). I vincitori di entrambi i tornei di qualificazione passeranno alla fase a gironi.

FASE 2: GIRONI
I due campioni nazionali di ogni paese partecipante si sfideranno poi nella fase a gironi in due gruppi da 5 e due gruppi da 6. I primi due paesi di ogni gruppo passeranno ai playoff!

FASE 3: PLAYOFFS
I due giocatori degli 8 migliori Paesi usciti dalla fase a gironi si affronteranno in un torneo a eliminazione diretta a partire dai quarti di finale. Alla fine, rimarranno 4 giocatori di 2 Paesi che disputeranno la grande finale e giocheranno per il titolo di Campione del Mondo IIHF 2023.

Qualification for the IIHF eWorld Championship 2023 kicks off
After a successful 2022 IIHF eWorld Championship, in which Finland’s “Eki” and “Vattuyy” beat Canada in OT in a thrilling final, we are excited to announce the 2023 IIHF eWorld Championship. The tournament will be played on EA SPORTS™ NHL™ 23 (PlayStation and Xbox). Over the course of three phases of competition, beginning with the Qualifiers in January 2023, we will crown the next official IIHF eWorld Champions in March 2023! Get ready and sign up now!
PHASE 1: QUALIFIERS
We will kick things off with the Qualifiers. There will be one open online tournament per console (PS/Xbox). The winners of both qualifying tournaments will advance to the group stage.
PHASE 2: GROUP STAGE
The two National Champions of each participating country will then be competing in the Group Stage in two groups of 5 and two groups of 6. The top 2 two countries in each group will advance to the Playoffs!

PHASE 3: PLAYOFFS
The two players from the 8 best countries coming out of the group stage will compete against each other in a knockout tournament starting with the quarter-finals. In the end, there will be 4 players from 2 countries left who will play the grand final and play for the 2023 IIHF eWorld Championship title.
