Linz vorrà iniziaree l’anno con una vittoria. Il Vipiteno attende la terza S.G. Cortina Hafro nel primo dei duelli tra italiane del turno. Per gli ospiti sarà una sfida a distanza con gli Hockey Unterland Cavaliers per il secondo posto con il Cortina che è ad un punto di distanza dai nuovi arrivati in campionato. I Broncos, invece, hanno ancora tre incontri da giocare.

Gli ospiti, attualmente al decimo posto hanno ancora possibilità di raggiungere il settimo. Il primo duello è stato vinto dal Bregenzerwald per 5:2. Il penultimo turno della Regular Season della Alps Hockey League si concluderà con il secondo duello tutto italiano di giornata tra SHF Fassa Falcons e HC Meran/o Pircher, con entrambe le squadre che cercheranno la prima vittoria del nuovo anno.
