Alps Hockey League 2022/23: il programma dell’ultima giornata di Regular Season
Tra giovedì, venerdì e sabato torna in campo l’Alps Hockey League 2022/23 con le partite valide per l’ultima giornata di Regular Season. Sono stati definiti i cinque posti nel Master Round nell’ultimo turno della Regular Season si stabilirà quali squadre tra la 6° e 15° posizione continueranno il loro cammino nel Qualification Round A e quali nel Qualification Round B.
L’EHC Lustenau ha in programma altre due partite alla fine della Regular Season. Domani la squadra del Vorarlberg giocherà contro la capolista HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice nell’unica partita del giovedì. Nel primo incontro di questa stagione con lo Jesenice, il Lustenau ha subito una netta sconfitta per 1:7. Sabato invece il Lustenau sarà in trasferta a Linz. Mentre l’Hockey Unterland Cavaliers ha ottenuto la qualificazione al Master Round negli ultimi turni, l’EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel ha perso la corsa per la qualificazione diretta ai playoff. Gli Adler hanno ora, nell’ultima partita della Regular Season, un duello a distanza per il sesto posto e quindi per il maggior numero di punti bonus con l’EC Zeller Eisbären davanti a loro.
A Merano arriva il Cortina per una sfida tutta italiana. L’S.G. Cortina Hafro può ancora concludere la Regular Season al terzo posto in classifica, mentre le Aquile possono ancora puntare all’ottavo posto. I dampezzani arrivano però da tre sconfitte di fila. Il primo incontro di questa stagione è stato vinto 5 a 0 dal Cortina. L’EK Die Zeller Eisbären, eliminata dalla corsa per il Master Round, ospita il Fassa. La squadra di Salisburgo ha perso lo scontro diretto contro i Rittner Buam per 0:3. I Falcons sono invece bloccati al 13° posto e si sono qualificati senza punti bonus nel Quali Round A.
Il Gherdeina attende i Rittner Buam che hanno staccato l’ultimo biglietto dei playoff e il posto nel Master Round. L’HC Gherdeina si trova all’ottavo posto in classifica dopo la sorprendente vittoria contro la capolista. Un miglioramento non è più possibile per la Val Gardena, che potrebbe comunque perdere una o due posizioni nell’ultimo turno. L’EC Bregenzerwald giocherà contro i Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, che hanno ancora da recuperare la sfida con l’HC Gherdeina, in programma il 15 gennaio.
Alps Hockey League 2022/23: the schedule for the last day of the Regular Season
Between Thursday, Friday and Saturday the Alps Hockey League 2022/23 is back on the field with the matches valid for the last day of the Regular Season. The five places in the Master Round have been decided. In the last round of the Regular Season it will be decided which teams between 6th and 15th position will continue their journey in Qualification Round A and which in Qualification Round B.
EHC Lustenau has two more games scheduled at the end of the Regular Season. Tomorrow the Vorarlberg team will play against the leading HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice in the only game on Thursday. In the first meeting of this season with Jesenice, Lustenau suffered a clear defeat 1:7. On Saturday, however, Lustenau will be away in Linz. While the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers gained qualification to the Master Round in the last rounds, EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel lost the race for direct qualification to the playoffs. The Adlers now have, in the last game of the Regular Season, a long-distance duel for sixth place and thus for the most bonus points with EC Zeller Eisbären ahead of them.
In Merano comes Cortina for an all-Italian challenge. S.G. Cortina Hafro can still finish the regular season in third place in the standings, while the Aquile can still aim for eighth place. The Dampezzani, however, are coming from three defeats in a row. The first match of this season was won 5-0 by Cortina. EK Die Zeller Eisbären, eliminated from the race for the Master Round, hosts Fassa. The Salzburg team lost the direct clash against the Rittner Buam by 0:3. The Falcons are instead stuck in 13th place and qualified without bonus points in Quali Round A.
Gherdeina awaits the Rittner Buam, who have secured the last playoff ticket and a place in the Master Round. HC Gherdeina is in eighth place in the standings after the surprising victory against the leading team. An improvement is no longer possible for Val Gardena, who could still lose one or two positions in the last round. EC Bregenzerwald will play against the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, who have yet to make up the challenge against HC Gherdeina, scheduled for 15 January.
