Per la prima volta nella loro storia, gli Asiago Vipers conquistano la Coppa Italia di Serie C 2022/23 battendo 7 a 1 gli Scomed Bomporto nella finale disputata al Pala Ferrin di Vicenza.
Passano 47 e gli Asiago Vipers si portano in vantaggio con Mattia Vellar che realizza l’1 a 0. Il risultato resta invariato per 5 minuti, fino a quando a 14:12 dalla prima sirena, ancora Mattia Vellar trova il raddoppio arancionero. Al 12:47 Gabriele Sala finisce in panca puniti: passano 39 secondi ed Alessandro Rossetto, con Asiago in power play, segna il 3 a 0. A 4:44 dalla fine del primo periodo una doppia penalità inflitta ad Asiago, permette a Bomporto di riaprire la partita. Gli Scomed, in 4 vs 2, segnano con Romeo Ganzerli dopo 11 secondi. Asiago regge bene l’inferiorità e le squadre tornano al completo. Al 17:24 i Vipers allungano di nuovo le distanze con Tommaso Lazzari, per il 4 a 1. Passano 18 secondi e Nikolas Stella firma il 5 a 1 con cui si chiude la prima frazione.
Ad inizio della ripresa i Vipers controllano il risultato, e poi al 4:29 trovano la sesta rete con Davide Fracaro. Al 10:28 Romeo Ganzerli finisce in panca puniti ed Asiago, passati 13 secondi, ne approfitta: Tommaso Lazzari, con una gran conclusione dalla distanza, firma il 7 a 1. Gli Scomed si fanno avanti e costringono i Vipers a commettere fallo. I gialloblu però non riescono a sfruttare il power play, e le squadre tornano così in parità numerica. Quando mancano 3:33 alla fine Pesavento e Idrizoski finiscono in panca puniti: si gioca in 4 vs 4. Negli ultimi minuti il risultato non cambia, e gli Asiago Vipers conquistano così la prima Coppa Italia di Serie C della loro storia.

For the first time in their history, the Asiago Vipers win the Italian Cup of Serie C 2022/23 by beating Scomed Bomporto 7 to 1 in the final played at Pala Ferrin in Vicenza.
Forty-seven passed and the Asiago Vipers took the lead with Mattia Vellar making it 1-0. The result remains unchanged for 5 minutes, until at 14:12 from the first siren, again Mattia Vellar finds the Orange double. At 12:47 Gabriele Sala ends up on the penalty bench: 39 seconds pass and Alessandro Rossetto, with Asiago on the power play, scores the 3-0. With 4:44 left in the first period a double penalty given to Asiago, allows Bomporto to reopen the game. Scomed, in 4 vs 2, scores with Romeo Ganzerli after 11 seconds. Asiago holds the inferiority well and the teams return to full strength. At 17:24, the Vipers stretch the distance again with Tommaso Lazzari, for 4 to 1. 18 seconds pass and Nikolas Stella signs the 5 to 1 with which the first half ends.
At the beginning of the second half the Vipers controlled the result, and then at 4:29 found the sixth goal with Davide Fracaro.
