Il programma del Campionato Europeo U23 2023 in Paredes
Dal 4 all’8 aprile si terrà la prima edizione del Campionato Europeo U23 2023 in Paredes, in Portogallo. Cinque le squadre che si affronteranno in un unico round robin: Inghilterra, Italia, Portogallo, Spagna e Svizzera. Gli azzurri di Alessandro Bertolucci esordiranno il 4 aprile contro la Svizzera. Il giorno dopo l’Italia sfiderà la Spagna, mentre il 6 aprile sarà la volta del Portogallo. Dopo un giorno di riposo gli Azzurri torneranno in campo l’8 aprile contro l’Inghilterra.
La nazionale sarà in raduno a Recoaro Terme il 27 e 28 febbraio per preparare il Campionato Europeo. Sono 14 i ragazzi, dal 2001 al 2003, convocati dal CT Alessandro Bertolucci. Il Monza è la squadra più rappresentata, con quattro giocatori, seguita da Follonica, Forte dei Marmi e Sandrigo con due. Un convocato per Correggio, Grosseto, Lodi e Vercelli.
The programme of the U23 European Championship 2023 in Paredes
From 4 to 8 April, the first edition of the U23 European Championship 2023 will take place in Paredes, Portugal. Five teams will compete in a single round robin: England, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. Alessandro Bertolucci’s Azzurri will make their debut on 4 April against Switzerland. The next day Italy will take on Spain, while on 6 April it will be the turn of Portugal. After a rest day, the Azzurri will be back on the pitch on 8 April against England.
The national team will meet in Recoaro Terme on 27 and 28 February to prepare for the European Championship. There are 14 boys, from 2001 to 2003, summoned by the CT Alessandro Bertolucci. Monza is the most represented team, with four players, followed by Follonica, Forte dei Marmi and Sandrigo with two. One summoned for Correggio, Grosseto, Lodi and Vercelli.
This is a premier of this European Championship, that, according with Orlando Panza, Chairman of WSE Rink Hockey Technical Commission, intends to «continue the project of evolution of athletes, promoting and encouraging the competition» and, at the same time, «increase the sense of responsibility and respect in the athletes actions in a phase of consolidation of their competitive focus». On the other hand, this competition intends to constitute a «moment in which the nations can assess their evolution and prepare for the future in the highest level of international competitions».
