Tra Coppa Italia Femminile e posticipi di Serie A1 ed A2, il weekend dell’hockey su pista
Weekend intenso per l’hockey su pista italiana, tra la finale di Coppa Italia Femminile ed i posticipi di Serie A1 ed A2, che si disputeranno sabato e domenica. In campo anche la Serie A1 femminile col match domenicale tra Forte e Rotellistica Scandianese. La serie A1 tornerà in campo mercoledì 28 con quattro incontri validi per la 25esima giornata, la penultima di campionato. Gli altri due posticipi si giocheranno invece sabato 1 aprile. La Serie A2 invece scenderà in pista il prossimo weekend per la 12esima giornata.
Il main event di questo weekend sarà la finale di Coppa Italia Femminile 2022/23, che assegnerà il quarto trofeo: si giocherà domenica alle ore 15:30, al PalaDante di Trissino (Vicenza). Ad affrontarsi saranno la Decom Roller Matera e l’Hockey Valdagno. L’anno scorso vinse il Valdagno, che chiuse l’annata con l’accoppiata Coppa Italia-Scudetto. Ad ottobre di quest’anno invece il Matera ha conquistato la prima Supercoppa Italiana. Tre vittorie stagionali per le lucane, complessivamente 4 vittorie per Matera e 3 di Valdagno nelle ultime due stagioni.
Domenica alle 15:30 si giocherà l’anticipo della 7a giornata della Serie A1 Femminile tra Versilia Hockey Forte di Sergio Festa e Rotellistica Scandianese di Massimo Barbieri, rispettivamente quarta e seconda in classifica. Nell’unico precedente ha vinto la Rotellistica 3-1 a Scandiano.
Sempre al PalaDante, dopo la Finale di Coppa Italia Femminile, si giocherà Trissino-Sandrigo, valida per la 24esima giornata. I padroni di casa, dopo aver vinto la Coppa Italia 2022/23 lo scorso weekend, hanno raggiunto la qualificazione alla Final Eight di Champions League. Gli ospiti invece sono reduci dalla vittoria contro Valdagno, e cercheranno di guadagnare altri punti in chiave Playout. Sabato si disputerà il derby vicentino tra Tierre Chimica Montebello e Montecchio Precalcino, uno scontro diretto tra le ultime due che mette in palio tre punti pesantissimi per i playout, che inizieranno tra meno di un mese.
In Serie A2 invece si giocherà un recupero ed un posticipo. Sabato sera si recupererà Novara-Scandiano, annullata dal Giudice Sportivo per l’errore arbitrale commesso nella partita disputata a febbraio. Terza contro quinta per un incontro che mette in palio tre punti importanti per entrambe. I piemontesi arrivano da otto risultati utili consecutivi, mentre gli emiliani hanno trovato un punto negli ultimi quattro incontri. Domenica, la VenetaLab Breganze, recente vincitrice della Coppa Italia A2, ospiterà al PalaFerrarin la BDL Minimotor Correggio nel posticipo dell’undicesima giornata. La partita sarà a porte chiuse a causa dell’inagibilità degli spalti. I padroni di casa cercheranno di vincere per portarsi a -2 dal Modena. Gli emiliani, del neo allenatore Farinola, sono in piena lotta per non retrocedere e cercheranno il colpaccio in trasferta per risalire in classifica.
Between the Italian Women’s Cup and the Serie A1 and A2 postponements, the rink hockey weekend
Intense weekend for Italian rink hockey, between the Italian Women’s Cup final and the Serie A1 and A2 postponements, to be played on Saturday and Sunday. The A1 Women’s Series is also on the field with the Sunday match between Forte and Rotellistica Scandianese. The A1 series will be back on the field on Wednesday 28 with four matches valid for the 25th day, the penultimate of the championship. The other two postponed matches will be played on Saturday 1 April. Serie A2, on the other hand, will take to the track next weekend for the 12th day.
The main event of this weekend will be the final of the Women’s Italian Cup 2022/23, which will award the fourth trophy: it will be played on Sunday at 15:30, at PalaDante in Trissino (Vicenza). Facing each other will be Decom Roller Matera and Hockey Valdagno. Last year Valdagno won, closing the year with the Italian Cup-Scudetto coupled. In October this year, instead, Matera won the first Italian Supercup. Three seasonal victories for the Lucane, a total of four for Matera and three for Valdagno in the last two seasons.
Sunday at 3:30 pm will be played the advance of the 7th day of the Women’s Serie A1 between Versilia Hockey Forte of Sergio Festa and Rotellistica Scandianese of Massimo Barbieri, respectively fourth and second in the standings. In the only previous game, Rotellistica won 3-1 in Scandiano.
Also at PalaDante, after the Women’s Italian Cup Final, Trissino-Sandrigo, valid for the 24th day, will be played. The hosts, after winning the 2022/23 Italian Cup last weekend, have reached the qualification for the Final Eight of the Champions League. The guests, on the other hand, are fresh from their victory against Valdagno, and will try to earn more points in the Playout. Saturday will see the Vicenza derby between Tierre Chimica Montebello and Montecchio Precalcino, a direct clash between the last two that puts three heavy points at stake for the playout, which will begin in less than a month.
In Serie A2, on the other hand, a recovery and a postponement will be played. Saturday night will see the recovery of Novara-Scandiano, which was cancelled by the Giudice Sportivo due to a refereeing error in the match played in February. Third against fifth for a match that puts three important points at stake for both. The Piedmontese come from eight consecutive useful results, while the Emilians have found a point in their last four matches. On Sunday, VenetaLab Breganze, recent winners of the A2 Italian Cup, will host BDL Minimotor Correggio at PalaFerrarin in the postponement of the 11th day. The match will be behind closed doors due to the inagibility of the stands. The hosts will try to win to move to -2 from Modena. The Emilians, of new coach Farinola, are in the midst of the fight to avoid relegation and will be looking for an away win to move up in the standings.
