Gli azzurrini pareggiano 2 a 2 contro la Repubblica Ceca, nella terza partita dell’EuroHockey di Plzeň Litice, in programma dal 24 al 30 luglio. Per l’Italia domani giorno di riposo: si tornerà in campo il 29 luglio, alle 10:30 contro la Turchia.
Gli azzurri partono subito forte e si portano in vantaggio con Claudio Brocco, dopo appena due minuti di gioco. Il risultato resta invariato fino add un minuto dalla fine del primo quarto, quando Davide Arosio trova il raddoppio. Ad inizio del secondo quarto la Repubblica Ceca potrebbe sfruttare un corner corto, ma non trova la rete.
La seconda metà di gara si apre con un penalty corner per gli azzurri che non lo sfruttano. Nel terzo periodo, entrambe le squadre avrebbero l’occasione per trovare la rete: l’Italia non sfrutta un penalty corner ed un rigore, mentre i cechi due penalty corner. Al 49esimo, dopo l’ennesimo penalty corner non sfruttato dagli azzurri, la Repubblica Ceca accorcia le distanze con Jan Brzak. Ad 1 e 15 dalla sirena arriva il pareggio ceco con Dominik Bystřický. The Azzurrini draw 2-2 against the Czech Republic in the third game of the EuroHockey Plzeň Litice, scheduled from July 24-30. For Italy, tomorrow will be a day of rest: they will be back on the field on July 29, at 10:30 am against Turkey.
The Azzurri started off strong and took the lead with Claudio Brocco after just two minutes of play. The result remained unchanged until one minute from the end of the first quarter, when Davide Arosio found the double. At the start of the second quarter the Czech Republic could take advantage of a short corner, but could not find the net.
The second half opened with a penalty corner for the Azzurri, who did not take advantage of it. In the third period, both teams would have the chance to find the net: Italy did not take advantage of a penalty corner and a penalty corner, while the Czechs two penalty corners. In the 49th minute, after yet another penalty corner not taken advantage of by the Azzurri, the Czech Republic shortened the distance with Jan Brzak.
