Agli Europei di Valladolid l’Italia viene sconfitta in semifinale dalla Spagna. Domani, alle 10 e 30, affronterà la perdente tra Rep. Ceca e Finlandia. L’U16 ha perso 3 a 0 contro la Spagna, nella semifinale disputata questa mattina. Domani i giovanissimi azzurri sfideranno la Slovacchia.
La Spagna si porta in vantaggio con Gallardo quando sono passati 3 minuti e mezzo. Al sesto minuto è Martìnez a realizzare il raddoppio iberico. Garcia, a 2 e 30 dalla prima sirena, firma il 3 a 0. Nella ripresa gli azzurri, dopo aver scontato diverse penalità, trovano la rete con Alessandro Rossetto a 6 minuti dal termine. Il 3 a 1 dura poco perchè passato un minuto De la Cruz segna la quarta rete spagnola. A 2 e 22 Mattia Pietrobon segna la rete del 4 a 2. L’Italia tenta gli ultimi assalti alla ricerca della rete, ma è ancora la Spagna a segnare con Jimenez a porta vuota.
