Seconda sconfitta per l’Italia, che perde contro l’Ungheria nel terzo match delle Qualificazioni ai Mondiali Femminili di Lignano Sabbiadoro, in programma dal 31 gennaio al 4 febbraio 2023 nel palazzetto del Bella Italia Village. Le azzurre sono nel girone con Francia, Polonia, Rep. Ceca e Ungheria. L’Italia ha perso 4 a 6 contro l’Ungheria, mentre nell’altro incontro la Francia ha perso 0 a 27 contro la Rep. Ceca, prossima avversaria dell’Italia, con inizio domani alle 19. Nell’altro incontro la Polonia affronta l’Ungheria.

Al 13esimo Veronika Vladar porta avanti le ungheresi, che chiudono così in vantaggio la prima frazione. Nella ripresa l’Ungheria trova l’allungo, segnando tre reti nei primi dieci minuti: prima Orsolya Galfi, poi Anna Takacs ed infine Dora Nyerges fisssano il punteggio sul 4 a 0. Al 32esimo Laura Bolt segna la prima rete azzurra. Camilla Olshov, al 52esimo riporta l’Italia in partita, firmando il 4 a 2. Passano due minuti e Orsolya Stipsicz segna la rete del 5 a 2. Al 54esimo ancora Laura Bolt rimette in partita le azzurre realizzando il 5 a 3. Al 56esimo Veronika Vladar realizza il 6 a 3, mentre a 20 secondi dalla fine ancora Camilla Olshov segna la rete del 6 a 4 finale.

Italy defeated by Hungary at Women’s World Cup Qualifier in Lignano Sabbiadoro

Second loss for Italy, which loses to Hungary in the third match of the Women’s World Cup Qualifiers in Lignano Sabbiadoro, scheduled for Jan. 31 to Feb. 4, 2023 at the Bella Italia Village arena. The Azzurri are in the group with France, Poland, Czech Rep. and Hungary. Italy lost 4-6 to Hungary, while in the other match France lost 0-27 to Czech Rep., Italy’s next opponent, starting tomorrow at 7 p.m. In the other match Poland faces Hungary.

In the 13th Veronika Vladar put the Hungarians ahead, thus ending the first half ahead. In the second half Hungary found the stretch, scoring three goals in the first ten minutes: first Orsolya Galfi, then Anna Takacs and finally Dora Nyerges set the score at 4-0. In the 32nd, Laura Bolt scored the first Azzurri goal. Camilla Olshov, in the 52nd brings Italy back in the game, signing the 4 to 2. Two minutes pass and Orsolya Stipsicz scores the goal of 5 to 2. In the 54th again Laura Bolt puts the Azzurri back in the game by scoring the 5 to 3. In the 56th Veronika Vladar scores the 6 to 3, while with 20 seconds to go again Camilla Olshov scores the final 6 to 4 goal.
