Playoff Alps Hockey League 2022/23: al via gara 1 dei Quarti di Finale
Iniziano questa sera i Playoff di Alps Hockey League 2022/23 con la prima partita di gara 1 dei Quarti di Finale. I Red Bull Hockey Juniors ospiteranno oggi l’Hockey Unterland Cavaliers, face off ore 20 e 30. Domani si giocheranno le altre tre sfide. Alle 19 Jesenice affronterà i Broncos. Alle 20 i Rittner Buam ospiteranno Kitzbühel, mentre alle 20 e 30 Cortina sfiderà Lustenau. Giovedì si tornerà di nuovo in campo per gara 2, nella serie best of seven.
I Red Bull Hockey Juniors hanno vinto il Master Round ed hanno optato per la neopromossa Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. I Red Bull hanno vinto tre dei quattro incontri contro l’Unterland in stagione. Dopo aver perso il primo duello della stagione per 2:3, il Salisburgo si è imposto per 4:2 nella Regular Season e per 3:2 e 5:3 nel Master Round. Lo Jesenice ha concluso il girone intermedio al secondo posto ed ha scelto il Vipiteno come avversario. I Broncos si sono qualificati per i quarti di finale vincendo gara 3 dei pre-playoff.I Broncos da tre anni raggiugono i quarti di finale passando da questa particolare fase. I due scontri diretti tra balcanici ed altoatesini di questa stagione sono stati vinti dallo Jesenice per 5:1 e 5:2.
I Rittner Buam sono arrivati terzi nel Master Round ed hanno scelto Kitzbühel. Le Aquile hanno sconfitto il Fassa nei pre-playoff, conquistando così i playoff per la prima volta nella storia del club. Il Renon ha vinto 13 dei 16 duelli, ma in questa stagione i tirolesi hanno avuto la meglio in entrambi gli incontri. L’ultimo incontro dei quarti sarà tra Cortina e Lustenau, le restanti due dopo il pick. Cortina ha chiuso il Master Round al quarto posto mentre Lustenau si è qualificato ai playoff superando in gara 3 lo Zeel am See. Due gli scontri nella stagione regolare, entrambi vinti dagli ampezzani.
Alps Hockey League 2022/23 Playoffs: Game 1 of the Quarter Finals kicks off
The Alps Hockey League 2022/23 Playoffs kick off this evening with Game 1 of the Quarter Finals. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors will host the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers today, face off 8:30 pm. Tomorrow the other three challenges will be played. At 7 pm Jesenice will face the Broncos. At 8 pm the Rittner Buam will host Kitzbühel, while at 8:30 pm Cortina will take on Lustenau. On Thursday it will be back on the pitch again for game two in the best-of-seven series.
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors won the Master Round and took on the newly promoted Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. The Red Bulls won three of the four meetings against Unterland in the season. After losing the first duel of the season 2:3, Salzburg won 4:2 in the Regular Season and 3:2 and 5:3 in the Master Round. Jesenice finished the intermediate round in second place and chose Sterzing as their opponent. The Broncos qualified for the quarter-finals by winning game 3 of the pre-playoffs. The Broncos have been reaching the quarter-finals through this particular stage for three years. The two direct clashes between the Balkans and South Tyrol this season were won by Jesenice 5:1 and 5:2.
The Rittner Buam finished third in the Master Round and chose Kitzbühel. The Eagles defeated Fassa in the pre-playoffs, thus making the playoffs for the first time in the club’s history. Renon has won 13 of the 16 duels, but this season the Tyroleans have prevailed in both meetings. The last match of the quarters will be between Cortina and Lustenau, the remaining two after the pick. Cortina finished the Master Round in fourth place while Lustenau qualified for the playoffs by overcoming Zeel am See in game 3. There were two clashes in the regular season, both won by the Ampezzani.
