La prima partita di hockey trasmessa in versione Cartoon
Martedì scorso, il 14 marzo, per la prima volta nella storia una partita di hockey è stata trasmessa in versione Cartoon, ovvero cartone animato 3D. Sia i giocatori che gli arbitri, ma anche i commentatori, figuravano come cartoni animati. È accaduto in NHL, il massimo campionato nord americano, con la sfida tra New York Rangers e Washington Capitals nell’evento chiamato “NHL Big City Greens Classic”, nato dalla collaborazione tra ESPN, Disney Channel e la NHL.
Grazie ai sensori presenti all’interno dei dischi ed indossati dai giocatori, la partita è stata trasmessa in diretta come se i giocatori fossero i personaggi di un cartone animato. La partita Cartoon, con l’arbitro un pollo, si è giocata all’aperto, mentre quella vera è andata in scena al Madison Square Garden. Protagonisti dell’incontro i personaggi della serie animata Disney “Big City Greens”, che ha debuttato nel 2018, ed è tutt’ora in corso. Per la cronaca l’incontro è finito 5-3 per i New York Rangers.
First hockey game broadcast in Cartoon version
Last Tuesday, 14 March, for the first time in history a hockey game was broadcast in Cartoon version, i.e. 3D cartoon. Both the players and referees, but also the commentators, appeared as cartoons. It happened in the NHL, the top North American league, with the match between the New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals in the event called ‘NHL Big City Greens Classic’, a collaboration between ESPN, Disney Channel and the NHL.
Thanks to sensors inside the pucks and worn by the players, the game was broadcast live as if the players were cartoon characters. The Cartoon game, with the referee a chicken, was played outdoors, while the real one was staged at Madison Square Garden. Starring in the match were characters from Disney’s animated series ‘Big City Greens’, which debuted in 2018, and is still ongoing. For the record, the match ended 5-3 to the New York Rangers.
