I convocati azzurri per l’EuroHockey Championship Qualifier di Vienna
Sono stati definiti da Gilles Van Hesteren, allenatore della Nazionale Italiana Maschile di Hockey su Prato i 18 convocati azzurri per gli EuroHockey Championship Qualifier C maschili che si terranno a Vienna, in Austria, dal 23 al 26 agosto 2022.
La competizione metterà a disposizione un pass per i prossimi Europei di Pool A. La formula è quella del girone all’italiana. Gli Azzurri affronteranno martedì, alle ore 15:30, la Croazia. Mercoledì, alle 17:45, sarà il turno dell’Austria. Venerdì, alle 9:45, gli azzurri affronteranno l’Ucraina nell’ultima partita del torneo.
L’Italia, al 28esimo posto nel ranking mondiale, è considerata la seconda forza del torneo: primi i padroni di casa dell’Austria (19), terza forza l’Ucraina (30) e infine la Croazia (47).
The Azzurri summoned for the EuroHockey Championship Qualifier in Vienna
Gilles Van Hesteren, coach of the Italian National Men’s Field Hockey Team, has defined the 18 Italian players called up for the men’s EuroHockey Championship Qualifier C to be held in Vienna, Austria, from 23 to 26 August 2022.
The competition will provide a pass for the next European Championships in Pool A. The formula is that of the Italian round. The Azzurri will face Croatia on Tuesday at 15:30. Wednesday, at 17:45, it will be Austria’s turn. On Friday, at 9:45, the Azzurri will face Ukraine in the last match of the tournament.
Italy, ranked 28th in the world rankings, is considered the second force in the tournament: first are hosts Austria (19), third force Ukraine (30) and finally Croatia (47).
