Italy beat Ukraine 1-0, winning the tournament in Vilnius, and securing a pass for the next Pool A European Championships in Mönchengladbach, to be held in 2023. The decisive goal came from Camila Machin, who scored from a penalty corner in the 30th minute. The match remained in the balance until the end, with Ukraine going in search of an equaliser. The result, however, did not change and Robert Justus’ Italian women snatched the pass for the European Championships.
