Playoff IHL 2022/23: Pergine, Caldaro e Varese in cerca della semifinale, l’Appiano attende Como
Domani sera si torna in campo per gara 3 dei Quarti di Finale di IHL 2022/23, con Pergine, Caldaro e Varese si giocano in casa la possibilità di conquistare già la semifinale, visto il doppio vantaggio. Dobbiaco, ValdiFiemme e Bressanone saranno chiamate a vincere in trasferta. Per questo in caso di parità al 60’ si procederà con l’overtime “lungo” (20 minuti in 5 contro 5) prima degli eventuali rigori. Tra Appiano e Como, vista la parità nella serie, si giocherà almeno gara 4, in programma sabato.
Si parte ad Appiano, con il primo incontro delle 20, con gli altoatesini che ieri hanno espugnato Como ed hanno così pareggiato la serie. Se i Pirati vorranno sfruttare il fattore casalingo per portarsi in vantaggio, i lariani cercheranno il secondo blitz esterno. Il Pergine proverà a chiudere la serie contro gli Icebears tra le mura amiche, con inizio alle 20 e 30. Dobbiaco è invece chiamato alla vittoria per non finire la stagione.
Stesso discorso per il Caldaro, che ospiterà il ValdiFiemme. I Lucci potranno contare sul rientro dello squalificato Simon Vinatzer. Se per Caldaro è l’occasione di chiudere la serie, gli ospiti cercheranno la vittoria per tornare sabato sera a Cavalese. Chiude il programma la sfida tra Varese e Bressanone, con i Mastini che si sono imposti con due 4-1 nelle prime due partite. Varese, spinto dal pubblico di casa, vorrà staccare il pass per la semifinale, mentre Bressanone proverà a vincere per tenere aperta la sua stagione.

Tomorrow night it’s back on court for game 3 of the IHL Quarterfinals 2022/23, with Pergine, Caldaro and Varese playing at home for the chance to already clinch the semifinal, given the double advantage. Dobbiaco, ValdiFiemme and Bressanone will be called upon to win away. Therefore, in the event of a draw in the 60th minute, the ‘long’ overtime (20 minutes in five-on-five) will be played before the eventual penalties. Between Appiano and Como, given the tie in the series, at least game 4 will be played, scheduled for Saturday.
It will start in Appiano, with the first match at 8pm, with the South Tyroleans having defeated Como yesterday and thus tied the series. If the Pirates will want to exploit the home factor to take the advantage, the Larians will look for the second external blitz. Pergine will try to close the series against the Icebears at home, starting at 20:30. Dobbiaco, on the other hand, is called to victory in order not to end the season.

If for Caldaro it is the occasion to close the series, the guests will look for the victory to come back Saturday night in Cavalese. The challenge between Varese and Bressanone closes the programme, with the Mastini winning two 4-1 in the first two games. Varese, urged on by the home crowd, will want to secure their pass to the semifinals, while Bressanone will try to win to keep their season open.
