Semifinali Alps Hockey League 2022/23: Renon all’ultima spiaggia, Cortina per allungare
Domani si torna in pista per le Semifinali di Alps Hockey League 2022/23 col Renon all’ultima spiaggia, mentre Cortina cercherà di allungare sul 3 a 1 la serie. Gara 4 che si giocherà alla Ritten Arena e dell’Olimpico. In caso di vittoria a Renon Jesenice, finora imbattuto nei playoff, sarà la prima finalista. Tra Red Bull e Corina la serie, ora sull’1 a 2 per i d’ampezzani, continuerà sabato per gara 5.
Il Renon è all’ultima spiaggia: ieri gli altoatesini hanno perso per 0:1 dopo i tempi supplementari e sono chiamati a vincere per non concludere la stagione. Gli sloveni sono l’unica squadra ancora imbattuta nei playoff e hanno bisogno di un’altra vittoria per conquistare la finale. Nella storia del torneo transnazionale, solo l’Asiago è riuscito a raggiungere la finale senza sconfitte nei playoff 2018. Jesenice ha vinto Gara 2 di semifinale a Collalbo per 3:0.
Lunedì Salisburgo con la sconfitta per 1:6 contro il Cortina ha interrotta la sua striscia di nove vittorie casalinghe. Gli ampezzani si sono così portati in vantaggio per 2:1 nella serie di semifinale “best-of-7”. Gli austriaci, testa di serie dei playoff, sono per la prima volta in svantaggio nella post season. A Cortina, su dieci sfide giocate, cinque le vittorie per i Red Bulls.
Alps Hockey League 2022/23 Semifinals: Renon at the last resort, Cortina to extend
Tomorrow it’s back on track for the Semifinals of the Alps Hockey League 2022/23 with Renon on the last throw, while Cortina will try to stretch the series to 3-1. Game 4 will be played at the Ritten Arena and the Olimpico. In case of victory in Renon Jesenice, so far undefeated in the playoffs, will be the first finalist. Between Red Bull and Corina the series, now on 1:2 for the D’Ampezzans, will continue on Saturday for game 5.
Renon is at the last resort: yesterday the Altoatesini lost 0:1 after extra time and are called to win in order not to end the season. The Slovenians are the only team still undefeated in the playoffs and need one more victory to reach the final. In the history of the transnational tournament, only Asiago has managed to reach the final without defeat in the 2018 playoffs. Jesenice won Game 2 of the semi-final in Collalbo 3:0.
On Monday, Salzburg’s 1:6 defeat against Cortina interrupted its streak of nine home victories. The Ampezzo team thus took a 2:1 lead in the best-of-7 semi-final series. The Austrians, seeded in the playoffs, are for the first time at a disadvantage in the post-season. In Cortina, out of ten challenges played, five were victories for the Red Bulls.
