L’Italia femminile supera il Messico ai World Skate Games 2022

Nella prima delle due partite di giornata, l’Italia femminile supera 7 a 1 il Messico ai World Skate Games 2022 e conquista il pass per i Quarti di finale, in programma domani. Questa sera, alle 19 locali, le 24 italiane, le azzurre affronteranno gli USA. Le ragazze di coach Luca Rigoni, già sicure del terzo posto, in caso di vittoria contro le nordamericane potrebbero chiudere al secondo posto. Od anche al primo, nel caso di una difficile vittoria del Brasile sul Canada.

Passati 125 secondi dall’inizio della partita e l’Italia concede il primo power play al Messico, con Rebecca Piccinini che si accomoda in panca puniti. In short handed Giulia Cipriano, al 3 e 13, porta in vantaggio le azzurre. Al 4:34 è Claudia Nuñez a finire in panca puniti e l’Italia può provare a sfruttare il primo power play. Arianna Bisi, quasi allo scadere della superiorità, firma il raddoppio azzurro. Passa poco più di un minuto e Giovanna Speranza trova la terza rete azzurra. Il gioco riprende e Arianna Bisi cala il poker, al 7:33. Al 12esimo è il Messico ad andare a segno con Joanna Rojas, per la rete del 4 a 1 con cui si conclude il primo tempo.

Nella ripresa l’Italia, in power play, segna la quinta rete con Giulia Cipriano al sesto minuto. Al decimo Karen Najera finisce in panca puniti, ma le azzurre non riescono a sfruttare la superiorità numerica. Il goal tuttavia arriva quando le squadre sono da poco tornate in parità. Florencia Abrati, al 12:41, firma la sesta rete azzurra. Passano quattro minuti ed è Letizia Barocci a trovare il 7 a 1. Finisce così, ed anche le azzurre conquistano il pass per i Quarti di finale.

Italy women overcome Mexico at World Skate Games 2022

In the first of the day’s two matches, Italy women’s team beat Mexico 7-1 at the World Skate Games 2022 and gained a pass to the quarter-finals, scheduled for tomorrow.
