L’Italia senior supera il Canada ai World Skate Games 2022
Nella seconda giornata dei World Skate Games 2022, in programma a Buenos Aires e San Juan, l’Italia senior supera il Canada. Per gli azzurri di coach Luca Rigoni si tratta del secondo successo, dopo quello di ieri per 9 a 2 sulla Colombia. Alle 18 e 30 italiane farà il suo esordio la nazionale femminile junior, che sfiderà l’Argentina. Gli azzurri invece torneranno in campo questa sera, alle 23 italiane, nel big match contro la Repubblica Ceca. Le partite dell’Italia in programma oggi verranno trasmesse in diretta sui canali social della FISR. Domani, alle 23 italiane, l’Italia affronterà l’Argentina nell’ultima partita del girone.
Passano 37 secondi e Thomas Berthold porta avanti l’Italia. Il risultato resta invariato per dieci minuti fino a quando Davide Dal Sasso, all’11esimo, trova il raddoppio azzurro. Passano meno di 30 secondi e Fabrizio Pace e Trent Vilio finiscono in panca puniti. Il 3 vs 3 però non porta a reti per nessuno. Al 17esimo Alessio Lettera firma la terza rete azzurra, e due minuti dopo Tobia Vendrame cala il poker. 4 a 0 alla fine del primo tempo.
Ad inizio ripresa Kade Vilio commette fallo e l’Italia può provare a sfruttare il power play. In superiorità numerica gli azzurri trovano la quinta rete con Tobia Vendrame. Al settimo minuto il Canada segna la prima rete con Donald Goodfellow. Passano tre minuti ed il giovane Francesco Campulla firma il goal del 6 a 1 per l’Italia. Al 12esimo Stefan Virtanen finisce in panca puniti: nei due minuti in superiorità gli azzurri però non trovano la rete. Le squadre tornano così in parità.
Passano quattro minuti ed è ancora il canadese Virtanen a finire in panca puniti. Il power play azzurro questa volta è più efficace: passano 54 secondi ed Emanuele Ferrari realizza la rete del 7 a 1. Nell’ultimo minuto l’Italia, in power play per un fallo commesso da Brent Story, prova a sfruttare la superiorità ma non trova la rete. Finisce 7 a 1 per gli azzurri.
Italy senior beats Canada at World Skate Games 2022
On the second day of the World Skate Games 2022, scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires and San Juan, senior Italy overcame Canada. For coach Luca Rigoni’s Azzurri it was the second success, after yesterday’s 9-2 win over Colombia. At 6.30 p.m. Italian time, the junior women’s national team will make its debut, taking on Argentina. The Azzurri, on the other hand, will be back on the pitch this evening, at 11pm Italian time, in the big match against the Czech Republic. Italy’s matches scheduled for today will be broadcast live on the FISR social channels. Tomorrow, at 23:00 Italian time, Italy will face Argentina in the last match of the round.
37 seconds passed and Thomas Berthold put Italy ahead. The result remained unchanged for ten minutes until Davide Dal Sasso, in the 11th, found the Italian double. At the start of the second half Kade Vilio committed a foul and Italy could try to exploit the power play. In numeric superiority the Azzurri found the fifth goal with Tobia Vendrame. In the seventh minute Canada scored the first goal with Donald Goodfellow. Three minutes passed and the young Francesco Campulla signed the goal of 6 to 1 for Italy. In the 12th minute, Stefan Virtanen ended up in the penalty box: in the two minutes in superiority, however, the Azzurri did not find a goal. The teams thus returned to a draw.
Four minutes passed and it was again the Canadian Virtanen who ended up in the penalty box. In the last minute Italy, in power play for a foul committed by Brent Story, tried to take advantage of the superiority but could not find the goal. It ended 7-1 for the Azzurri.
