L’Italia chiude al secondo posto il Torneo 4 Nazioni “Michele Bolognini”
Seconda vittoria per l’Italia che superando la Corea, chiude al secondo posto il Torneo 4 Nazioni “Michele Bolognini”, in programma alla Sparkasse Arena di Bolzano fino al 11 febbraio. Gli azzurri vincono 5 a 2 contro i coreani e trovano così il secondo successo nella rassegna. Il Torneo è stato vinto dalla Slovenia che nel primo pomeriggio ha superato 2 a 1 ai rigori l’Ungheria. Gli sloveni, a pari punti con l’Italia, hanno vinto lo scontro diretto per 2 a 1 all’overtime.
Gli azzurri passano in vantaggio con Hannoun al 7:51. L’1 a 0 rimane invariato fino a buona parte della seconda frazione: al 33esimo Chongmin Lee, con la Corea in power play, segna il pareggio. Passano meno di due minuti e gli azzurri, in superiorità numerica, si riportano avanti con Spornberger. La Corea però, a 113 secondi dalla sirena, trova la rete del 2 a 2 con Jongmin Lee che chiude la seconda frazione.
L’ultimo periodo si apre con la rete di Phil Pietroniro, quando sono passati poco più di tre minuti. Con gli azzurri in power play, è ancora Pietroniro a trovare il 4 a 2, al 48esimo. 18 secondi dopo è Morini a realizzare la rete del 5 a 2 finale.
Italy closes in second place at the “Michele Bolognini” 4 Nations Tournament.
Second win for Italy, which overcame Korea to finish in second place at the “Michele Bolognini” 4 Nations Tournament, scheduled at the Sparkasse Arena in Bolzano until Feb. 11. The Azzurri won 5-2 against the Koreans and thus found their second success in the review. The Tournament was won by Slovenia, which beat Hungary 2-1 on penalties in the early afternoon. The Slovenians, tied on points with Italy, won the direct clash 2 to 1 in overtime.
The Azzurri took the lead through Hannoun at 7:51. The 1-0 scoreline remained unchanged through most of the second half: at 33:00 Chongmin Lee, with Korea on the power play, scored the equalizer. Less than two minutes passed and the Azzurri, in numerical superiority, went ahead again with Spornberger. Korea, however, with 113 seconds to go before the siren, found the 2-2 goal with Jongmin Lee, ending the second period.
The final period opened with Phil Pietroniro’s goal when just over three minutes had passed. With the Azzurri on the power play, it was Pietroniro again who found the 4 to 2, in the 48th. 18 seconds later it is Morini who scores the final 5 to 2 goal.
