L’Italia U20 supera la Corea del Sud al Mondiale di Bytom

Nella terza partita l’Italia U20 supera la Corea del Sud al Mondiale IIHF di 1^ Divisione Gruppo B di Bytom, in Polonia, in programma dall’11 al 17 dicembre. Gli azzurrini battono 6 a 4 i coreani: dopo un primo periodo chiuso in svantaggio, l’Italia ribalta il punteggio nel secondo periodo e rimane sempre in vantaggio, segnando la decisiva rete con Segafredo a cinque minuti dall’ultima sirena. Domani un altro giorno di pausa: l’Italia tornerà sul ghiaccio venerdì, alle 16 e 30, contro la Polonia, mentre sabato, alle ore 13, è in programma l’ultimo match contro l’Estonia.

Il primo tempo è combattuto ed equilibrato, ma è la Corea a trovare la rete ad un secondo dalla sirena con Kang. Nella prima parte della ripresa entrambe le squadre sono costrette a giocare in inferiorità numerica, ma nessuna sfrutta al meglio il power play a favore. Al 34esimo Alessandro Segafredo segna la rete del pareggio. Passano 52 secondi e Tommy Purdeller porta avanti gli azzurrini per la prima volta segnando il 2 a 1. 105 secondi dopo Thomas Galimberti firma il 3 a 1 azzurro. Al 38:16 Kim Sangyeob accorcia le distanze per il 3 a 2. 41 secondi prima della sirena Purdeller finisce in panca puniti.

L’ultima frazione si apre con gli azzurri che escono indenni dall’inferiorità numerica. Tornata da poco in parità numerica, l’Italia trova l’allungo con Alan Lobis che realizza il 4 a 2. Passano 35 secondi e Leo Messner segna il 5 a 2 per gli azzurri. Al 47:22 la Corea sfrutta al meglio il proprio power play e trova la rete del 5 a 3 con Kim Mooseong. I coreani ci credono e riaprono il match con Kim Sangyeob 61 secondi dopo, che firma il 5 a 4. A 4 e 18 dalla fine Alessandro Segafredo realizza il 6 a 4 finale. Negli ultimi minuti l’Italia controlla il risultato e trova tre punti importanti.

Italy U20 overcomes South Korea at the World Championship in Bytom

In the third match Italy U20 overcame South Korea at the IIHF World Championship 1st Division Group B in Bytom, Poland, scheduled from 11 to 17 December. The Azzurrini beat the Koreans 6 to 4: after a first period closed in disadvantage, Italy overturned the score in the second period and remained ahead, scoring the decisive goal with Segafredo five minutes before the last siren. The last fraction opened with the Azzurri coming out of numerical inferiority unscathed. At 47:22 Korea made the most of their power play and found the goal of 5:3 with Kim Mooseong. The Koreans believe in it and reopen the match with Kim Sangyeob 61 seconds later, who signs the 5 to 4. With 4:18 to go Alessandro Segafredo scored the final 6:4. In the last minutes Italy controlled the result and found three important points.
