ICEHL 2022/23: Brady Shaw votato MVP della Regular Season
Il canadese Brady Shaw, ala dell’HC TIWAG Innsbruck, è stato eletto dai giornalisti MVP (Most Valuable Player) della Regular Season di ICEHL 2022/23. Per la prima volta nella storia del campionato, un giocatore degli squali conquista il “Ron Kennedy Trophy”. Brady Shaw, che sarà premiato durante la serie dei quarti di finale, ha ricevuto di gran lunga il maggior numero di voti di tutti i giocatori nella votazione dell’MVP con 56 punti ed è stato nominato primo 16 volte. In estate, l’ala di origine canadese, che possiede anche la cittadinanza americana, si è trasferita a Innsbruck ed è diventata fin da subito una pedina fondamentale. Con 43 assist, il 30enne è in cima alla classifica degli assist di tutto il campionato, mentre con 26 gol è quarto nella classifica dei marcatori. Il numero 12 degli “Sharks” ha segnato in 40 delle sue 48 partite nella stagione regolare e guida anche la classifica dei marcatori della win2day ICE Hockey League.
ICEHL 2022/23: Brady Shaw voted MVP of the Regular Season
Canadian forward Brady Shaw of HC TIWAG Innsbruck has been voted MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the ICEHL 2022/23 Regular Season by journalists. For the first time in the history of the League, a Sharks player wins the ‘Ron Kennedy Trophy’. Brady Shaw, who will be awarded during the quarter-final series, received by far the most votes of all players in the MVP vote with 56 points and was named first 16 times. His Innsbruck teammate Adam Helewka took second place, while Nick Mattinen of EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV came third.
Last season Brady Shaw played for Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and with the Hungarians reached the final of the win2day ICE Hockey League. In the summer, the Canadian-born winger, who also holds American citizenship, moved to Innsbruck and immediately became a key player. With 43 assists, the 30-year-old tops the League’s assists list, while with 26 goals, he is fourth in the scorers’ list. The number 12 of the ‘Sharks’ has scored in 40 of his 48 games in the regular season and also leads the scorers’ table of the win2day ICE Hockey League.
