La Rep. Ceca supera l’Italia che chiude così al quarto posto la sua avventura alla Para Ice Hockey Cup 2022 disputata a Bridgewater, in Nuova Scozia (Canada). I cechi vincono 9 a 0 e conquistano il terzo posto al torneo. Da disputare ancora la finale per il primo posto tra USA e Canada, in programma alle 16 locali.
I cechi passano subito in vantaggio con Wagner, dopo 43 secondi. L’1 a 0 dura per tutta la prima frazione. Nella ripresa l’Italia subisce due reti ravvicinate di Vesely in short handed. Al decimo Hecko realizza il 4 a 0. L’ultimo periodo si apre con la rete di Ohar dopo 20 secondi che vale il 5 a 0. Le ultime quattro reti arrivano negli ultimi 5 minuti, con la sesta rete segnata in power play dai cechi. Finisce 9 a 0 per la Rep. Ceca.
Italy finishes fourth at Para Ice Hockey Cup 2022
The Czech Republic beat Italy to finish fourth at the Para Ice Hockey Cup 2022 in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia (Canada). The Czechs won 9-0 to take third place in the tournament. Still to be played is the final for first place between the USA and Canada, scheduled for 4pm local time.
The Czechs immediately took the lead through Wagner, after 43 seconds. The 1-0 lead lasted throughout the first half. In the second half Italy conceded two close goals by Vesely in the short handed. In the tenth Hecko made it 4-0. The last period opened with Ohar’s goal after 20 seconds that made it 5-0. The last four goals come in the last five minutes, with the sixth goal scored on the power play by the Czechs. It ends 9-0 to the Czech Republic.
